I adored him for years, and this shirt rocks. And I don't say that often. Must buy. MUST. Gonzo, indeed. In the last Rolling Stone interview with Thompson and his friends, Johnny Depp relates how, after he had visited the good Doctor a few times, realized that the wooden slat keg that was serving as his bedside table in the guest room was full of gunpowder. Depp is a heavy smoker. When he told Thompson, all he said was something like, "I wondered where that thing had gone." In another incident, Thompson visited a friend and was up late talking, and they were joined by the friend's teenage son. After a while, the kid brought out his pet tarantula and they all started letting it walk all over their hands and arms. Of course they were all high, and the good Doctor suggested they put on some bright pink lipstick, just for the hell of it. At about the same time they all had their lipstick in place and the tarantula was walking on them, the friend's wife walked in.

Well, my good lady. I just happened to notice this shirt on my facebook. Tis was most awesome design. So, on this night, I came back with hopes. A high hopes, indeed, that the most awesome design will lay on the most excellent blank once again.

Bought the Skeletor tee from the other day as my first purchase from Teefury...love the quality of the shirt/print! This just became my second purchase. Can't wait to add it to my collection.

I lie to myself. A lot. Hunter to me represents the man who controls the chaos in a chaotic universe. Somehow these billion year old molecules came together to create a being that was so ass backwards yet so smuuuuuurf intelligent that I think he went nuts just like most intelligent people do. When you see nothing but the chaotic universe in all its glory, compress all those billions of years into just a thought, you let loose... You live... You really live, and that is Hunter to me. This shirt is great. Thank you.

I also have to add that his words describe and give you the feeling of that infinite fear, and awkwardness of hallucinogenic experiences.

I am absolutely in love with this design in every way, but the placement seems awkward. I think I'm going to end up buying it anyway.

Oh, and this was my first Tee Fury purchase. I pretty much exclusively Woot it... but I have been checking this site for a few weeks hoping that something would catch my fancy and this shirt sure did. Hopefully I will be buying more in the future.

...it's not undeserved? And I don't give negative comments every day, just when the design is something I find artistic problems with or just isn't my style.

That just happens to be most of the time. This is a very well-drawn image by a talented artist. The placement's kind of odd because I'm somewhat of a fatty and would make it look funny, but it's still aesthetically nice. :I

Definitely a great shirt, real high quality art, and unlike others I love it on white and the placment of the design. Been browsing this site for months, and no offense, this is miles above the overall charmeleon that is put up daily. Nice job Randy;)

I don't believe he did himself in either. The man was an expert at using firearms and self-medication. Plus, at the time, he had a lot in the works, despite the hip surgery.

I read some of Thompson's articles on 9/11 and the Dubya Administration in the foreign press; and, believe me, he had A LOT to say. Plus, he knew Bush The Dumber back when he was just a coke-snorting, alcohol-chugging dimwit passing out in other people's bathtubs.

I so rarely buy dailies here but this one is really awesome. It is a shame it has to be on a gildan blank.....The shirts are so cheap and thin I can already see cracks developing in the spaces between threads of my teevil collab and I've worn it one day. What an absolute waste to put something like this on a shirt that won't hold the design longer than a few months. Here's hoping they have a lot of AIstyle white blanks in stock.
