If you want to shop at Threadless.com for the rest of your life, go ahead, by all means, do so.

It really bugs me when people say this. "Not another animal shirt" as if 'animal' is a small topic. There are literally thousands of different animals in the world, heck there are thousands of species of insects alone. It's a pretty KHAAAAAAAN broad topic to complain about!

So we had Birds, rabbits, foxes, jellyfish and now elephants, they may all be animals but they're all completely freakin' different!
I can understand people complaining, of "oh not another bunny t-shirt" that completely fair enough. But to just lump anything that's living and not a human or plant into the category of 'animal' just shows a complete lack of understanding or caring for the natural world that provides for us all.

Meh rant over. I love this shirt design, I do much prefer the girls colour but I'm thinking about picking one up for my bro as he's rather fond of beer lol!

And yes the Pokemon at the side are amazing! I love the psycho psyduck and the toxic slowpoke! Don't stop at the original 151!!! :D

I guess this is the one day where the teefury f***/pokemon filter actually makes sense...

This is pretty pokemon adorable, although I'm not really pleased about teefury's move to gildan shirts. so I'll think it over throughout the day.

Not fussed for this one. Too cartoony for me, I'm afraid.

That said, I don't understand the vitriol poured on some t-shirts. It's one-a-day at teefury.com, meaning you only ever have 24 hours maximum until there's a new one. Moreover, if I liked EVERY t-shirt, it would be disastrous for my wallet and my marriage, so I'm sometimes relieved if I go a week to ten days without liking a t.

Keep up the good work teefury.

LOVE Jublin's stuff and I totally love this design.
The dead pokemon series of his art is my fave.
I love how each elephant has its own personality.

And personally, I like animal shirts. Nothing against them :) Actually I like a shirt if it's pretty and/or funny and I'm pretty sure this one fits both of the categories for me.

The dead slumped over Jigglypuff is soooooooooooooo good! LOL! I think everyone wanted to see that happen to Jigglypuff during the show for being so annoying with it's singing.

Not for nothing but everyone loves animals... not everyone loves Star Wars. So really it would make more sense to have more animal shirts just because it would please a larger percentage of people. In my opinion Star Wars=lame

I'll admit that alot of the animal tees aren't the best but come on, don't act like you hate TeeFury because of it.
And if you do hate TeeFury, I'm sure there are plenty of alternative 24-Hour tee sites.
Overall TF does a pretty good job curating art, point blank.
Before I commented on the tees daily I remember scrolling down and reading all the comments and thinking, "I've never seen a community so nice".
Everybody used to get along, and debates were simply opinion against opinion, not a total uproar about who's right, who's wrong, and what designs should print.
I don't see why everybody can't cool theirselves down. Afterall, TeeFury isn't made for one specific individual, it's made for everybody, and everybody has different tastes.
If you don't like a tee wait for one you do like, that's what I do.
If I don't like a tee I'll state it's not my style, but I won't totally bash anything and everything to do with the tee.
Also, as others stated above my post, I'm glad the tee isn't to my liking everyday. If I liked all of them I'd be more broke than I am, and I'm not even sure if that's possible.

Definitely Fuzzy! My favorite Pokemon was probably Snorlax because I could relate to him the most.

I actually really like the guys' color scheme - I think it makes the design "pop." Congrats Jublin. In for my first TeeFury... although I've been coming for a while now! And also completely agree with the with TBJMayle - everyone has different opinions! It's a novel idea on the internet I know, but can't we all just accept that?

Jublin, I love your work. I think it's really great. I'm thinking about getting this for my brother because he goes to Tufts like at least one other on here. But I'm crazy interested in how you do your textures. I love that style and have been trying to recreate something like that for some time and haven't had much luck and I was wondering if there was anything simple that you could tell me in terms of a direction.

hey liner, for the texture up above it's basically two layers. The base layer which is solid and another layer over top which is slightly lighter. Then I erase a bit of top layer with a grungey textured brush to reveal the darker color beneath it. That's one technique. Not too tough :)

I love the shirt... Dont know anything about Pokemon but everyone seems to love the design on the side... I love your furry pictures in your portfolio... very creative. All your digital work is really funky I like it alot... I like the picture of the kids on floaties and one of them dropping their book.. Id like that is a shirt... just in like a box across the upper chest, its cute. Love the little kid and the monster. Love the mario old folks home shirt in the "other" section. I think everyone else will like it too..

as for my two cents,
i think you can take more risks and be more creative and artistic with animals, therefore i dig them.

as for star wars, or antichrists and skulls, it is harder to get out of the box.

Exactly!!!! I think that is what someone above was trying to say... there are sooo many animals and soooo many things that you can do with them. I mean come on... a few weeks ago we had a bear playing a guitar. haha I feel like animals you can really be creative with where as characters from movies or shows you cannot be as creative because if you go too far off the beaten path people wont even realize who it is.

Hrmmm if it were a tee fight between animals and Star Wars, I'm going to have to say animals. At least there's more material there.

That, and I'm just really tired of Star Wars.

Those were part of a grab bag. I think you might be able to find some on teetrade.org or someone around here. Although that one on the goldenrod color is rare since it's not something we printed a bunch of designs on.

RE: Teefury picking the wrong shirt -- 9 times out of 10 I'm betting it's a color issue. You can't print forty colors on a shirt and expect it to cost the same nine dollars. So if they WERE to print the Pokemon shirt, you'd probably have something like a blue psyduck and a green geodude, and all the others would be blue and green as well.

RE: AirHendrix - Um... I already have three shirts from TF with Darth Vader on them. No more Star Wars, please. Animal shirts are fine, considering there are millions of different animals to choose from.

RE: Elephants - Pink elephants is a term meaning drunken hallucinations: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seeing_pink_elephants, so I'm guessing this shirt is a play on those words.

Not a fan of this one, but I want to say that I really like your art style, Jublin.

And Teefury, keep trying new things with colors... I like how the men's and women's have different colorways on this one. Been a while since both sides had good coloring, instead of the usual "girls get a bright color, guys get some variation of gray."

Also RE: Teefury picking the wrong shirt - You also have to realize that these designs are SUBMISSIONS, the artist is the one who submits a design for Teefury to use. Teefury "picks" between submissions, but it's not like they look at someone's portfolio and say "We want this one."

So I have been checking every day for an elephant to pop up on Teefury and today my dreams came true :) When i bought the Jublin tee with the pugs and shutter shades, i saw this elephant design and was like "oh man, if only..." THANK YOU!
