Has any one considered these designs on perhaps a polo or a long sleeve shirt? Some of these, especially this one, would look spectacular that way. Anyways, still going to buy, i love it!

I really actually like this, surprisingly. Designs like this usually aren't for me, but the eagle heads and talons speak to my inner child. I liked anything with angry eyebrows, pointy teeth, and/or claws and I love how large it's printed. That, and I'm a sucker for black/grey/white with red for accent.

I like the mesh with the English flag in front of an Eastern European two-headed eagle that looks like it's an American bald eagle. Don't get me wrong, it's not a problem and in fact if I were a Eastern European/British American instead of a Norse/British-American, it would be a certain buy C:

Not so much something i would wear, but serious props for getting printed, its a great design!! I do agree with one of the earlier comments, this would look amazing on a poloshirt or something similar. Keep up the good work!

David Bitton? Not sure who that is. I just think this would look spectacular on even a long sleeve, or a polo. A plain old t-shirt undersells how classy this is. Heck, I'd definitely be willing to pay double for a polo or a long sleeve for shirts like this though.

YES. Bought! Really a fan of all your work, Castle. I just saw Mad Chop Barbershop on your site and I kind of want to buy it again (hey, it's printed on AA, which is pretty much the only brand that fits decently on me. And it's softer. At least, it's much better than the weird Gildan [or whatever it was, but definitely not the standard AlStyle] that I got Mad Chop on when it was printed here at TF!).

BTW, thank you for not positioning the design at an angle with front left shoulder placement. I am definitely a bit tired of that trend...

That is a very "gino" design, I'm disappointed. Didn't think teefury would put up shirts like this. It's nice art definitely, but it's got style deficiency written all over it as a t-shirt.

This is an interesting design, but it makes no sense. Why on earth would you put a Union Jack over the Hapsburg double-eagle? On the same note, the sword looks like a Roman Gladius.

You get an A for Effort and Style, but a D for Theme and Coherency.

Wooo! Finally us British folk get some love. Do the two eagle heads represent the influx of immigrants from Eastern Europe? Great design for people outside the UK, but if you wear it here (in London) you'll look like a tourist, albeit a stylish one.

Lovely, mate! The MashedPotato of identities just makes it that much more interesting. I wish the eagle heads were more austere, rather than a bit cartoonish, but we can't have everything now can we?

I now this design is a fusion of a couple of different things, like the world we live in today.... especially in America. Things are changing, cultures are melding.

You know, inspired by Traditional Americicana Tattoo designs, like a whole lot of my designs. I'm also a big fan of the British punk scene with the likes of The Exploited, The UK Bombs, The Damned and so many others. I wanted to fuse the two together and this just happened to be the result.

Also, I just crawled out of bed, crept up on teefury and I have to say, seeing an awesome shirt like this is a damn good way to get yourself to wake up. Once I saw this shirt I totally forgot I was groggy, irritable and ready to take someone's head off at a moments notice. Now I'm happy and having a good time thinking about my new shirt. I can't wait for it to arrive..... in 2 weeks..... "Doh!" It will be worth the wait and will make it that much more better.

It's always a little weird seeing Americans getting such a kick out of the Union Jack without necessarily having ever been to the UK. Don't seem to see many cases of the other way around haha.

And stablercake, it's not the English flag, it's the flag of the United Kingdom - meaning the amalgamated flags of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland (Wales didn't/doesn't count as it's classed as a principality).

The English national flag is the cross of St George (white background with a red cross - think the Norwegian flag inverted).

As for the shirt, it's pretty cool but being from this rockpile in the North Sea, I'd just look like a total tourist wearing that anywhere but abroad.

Tell us about this design:

What's a day in the life of Derrick Castle like? (Do you freelance, work, etc etc.)

My day begins like most I guess, I wake up in the morning and drink a pot of coffee. I start my day by driving into town and work through the day at my full time job which is an inhouse graphic designer for the healthcare industry. I spend most of the day worrying what I'm gonna have for lunch. When my work day is over I drive home, eat some dinner, spend time with the wife and kids. Give baths and put the kids to bed, then the real design magic happens! I fix myself a cocktail, usually something like a mojito or a cahpriniah then start crankin out some bad ass designs! The rest of the night consists of drinking and artwork till I pass out.

I do a ton of freelance and one of the things I'm loving right now is, I got picked up as a freelance artist by a major merchandising company for the music industry so I've been able to design shirts for some of my favorite bands growing up like Poison, KISS, Alice Cooper, Ozzy, Def Leppard and others!

You have a choice: Delorian, Knight Rider, A Team Van, or General Lee, which one and why?

I'd probably go with the General Lee, cause I'm a country boy at heart. I was born and raised in the south and would love to have an old muscle car! But it would be awfully cool to be able to travel back in time!

Godzilla or Staypuft Man?

I like marshmallows;0)

Sushi or Steak?

sushi for breakfast and steak for dinner!

Shatner or Patrick Stewart?

Gotta go with Malcolm Reynolds even though he's not an option here. Mal is a total bad ass and I'm more of a fan of the sci-fi western!

How's my old stomping ground Nashville? Still pimpin your shirts out there? How the progress on your brand/identity been working?

Things are going pretty good here in Nashville, my clothing line is still pretty small but it trucking right along. I have a few of my designs featured in Nashville boutiques with plans to keep expanding. I have a both scheduled for our Nashville Oktoberfest which is going to be exciting! I've been trying my hand at some fine art stuff and have managed to schedule a showing for what I call my "Classic Bad Ass Collection" at a local Rum Bar here in Nashville called Rumba.
