I have really liked a few of the recent designs Teefury has picked...I am glad to see a lot of cool illustrations lately! This design is so cute, but I must pass seeing as how I bought yesterday's.

This tee is a visual approach to the sea, featuring rad characters, fish skeletons, and lots of awesome. Stick-A-Thing has a really fun style and I'm glad to finally see it on a shirt of its own here at TeeFury.

Tell us the background of this design.

Chombanautics is about pure maritime happyness. The old drooling seafarer will guide you savely through the waters of Chombalandia. Sometimes we forget that whales are our friends so let's treat them properly. It's a psychodelic approach to show my love for the sea.

What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?

I am an open minded person, open for new influences and always happy to meet people with similiar interest from all over the world. I love to travel and see new places and make connections with cool people. S.A.T is not only my name for creative productions but it is also my attitude, I am living S.A.T, I am a character myself. :D S.A.T on your monitor, printed in a book. your shirt or representing on the streets. Ploppppp.

What do you absolutely not want them to find out?

My bad habits, there are plenty of them.

MPCs, music, vintage racing bikes, foldable bikes, pho bo soup, 1210s, poscas, capoeira de angola

What are your feelings on painting?

It frees my mind and keeps me concentrated.

Do you prefer getting news from tv, the newspaper, or the internet?

I am reading news on the web, my startpage is spiegel online, german magazine and online news, so I stay updated about the Pirates of Somalia, can you imagine beeing a pirate in 2009?

Grizzly bear vs. polar bear: which would win the battle?

The Polar bear will win fo'shizzle mc nizzle. He will stay cool, like the climate that he is used, too. A bear has to be pretty cruel to survive in an ice desert, so I think the Polar bear will make it. It will though awful to see all the terrible bloodstains on his shiny white fur, still the Polarbear will make it :D

Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.

It's from brazil and it's black saying in funky letters »Brazilian Soul«. I love Brazil…ploppp.

What inspires your work?

All my international buddies around the world, presenting their art on Flickr. Walking through my streets of Berlin and seeing the present time clashing with the past. As internet can bring people together, I am getting heavily inspired by flickr peeps and also my Berlin buddies. Chomba all day! Chomba me 1up YO!
