Tell us about yourself:
Well, let's see.  I'm an illustrator / designer from San Diego, CA.  My name is spelled with one "L", not two.  I watched a lot of cartoons growing up (and I still do) and it reflects in my artwork.  My favorite cartoons growing up were Inspector Gadget, The Smurfs, and Tom & Jerry.  What else... Oh, and I like to draw faces on food.

What's a day in the life of Philip like?
It's pretty boring actually.  I've been trying to spice it up a bit lately by going to the gym.  I don't really enjoy going to the gym and "working out", but there are some interesting characters at my gym who I get a kick watching.  Like there's this ginormous bodybuilder guy who's face turns beat red and veins popping out of his forehead and neck every time he's lifting weights.  I'm always wondering if he'll pass out or something, and how the paramedics are going to lift him onto the stretcher if he's unconscious.  These are things I think about.

How many printed/art shirts do you own?
Too many.  I'm trying to cut back on buying new ones, but it's hard.  It's like an addiction.  Wait, does that make you my pusher?!

You met me, with a sidekick, littlem (Annie). How did that go over?
Will my answer affect how well my shirt is going to sell and if I get printed again here?  If so, then you were amazing and I had the best time hanging out with you.  JK JK.  It was neat finally meeting you (after you got over the confusion with the ferris wheel for the carousal and found us).  After some awkward introductions and some talk, I had a nice time hanging out with THE Jimiyo.  Now, what did you think me?

jimiyo's reply:  Philip and Annie told me to meet them at the carousal and I waited at the ferris wheel because I am retarded.  The Spectrum is scary and confusing for a person who has agoraphobia

I liked meeting you and Annie. I thought it was funny when you were like, "WHO ARE YOU GUYS!?" in reference to us talking about materialism, or the lack of. 

You and Annie were very awesome. We should go hang out again. Next time... no Red Robin. Maybe Sushi? :D

Hmm...  Bill Watterson, Chuck Jones, Shag...

Any exciting projects coming up?
Nothing too exciting.  I've been trying to do more crafts -- making stuff with my bare hands -- so I've been making sock monkeys.  They're pretty easy to make once you figure it out.  I've come to respect the needle like I respect the Pen Tool in Illustrator.
