So it's Lincoln, with an eye patch and hair from '88.

I just feel like if someone walked in my house wearing this shirt I would just feel stared at by a one eyed man all night. So for the sake of not creeping out my friends with a hybrid Macgyver/lincoln face on my chest, I will not be getting this shirt.

I think you're the one who doesn't get it.
Kurt Russel is an actor that plays Snake. So it is Snake, and yet at the same time it is Kurt Russel (same person if you hadn't figured that out by now).
You're right, and yet at the same time you epic fail by showing off your knowledge on a subject that you are obviously ignorant in.

its Abe Lincoln re-done as snake plissken the main character from Escape from NY and Escape from LA

DaPhren: I think the reason it works is that they are both iconic badasses in their own way (Snake in 80's pop culture, Abe in american history). The design shows them to be the same guy. The gag is that by adding the hair, eye patch, and a bit of stubble ...Presto! everyone sees Snake

Kind of a double for me... While it was based off of Snake from the escape movies, it's also basically the same as Snake from the mgs video games. In the 2nd one he actually goes by Snake Plissken as an alias, and in the third one he's even got the eye patch. That's the Snake I'll be imagining this as... :) Anyway, N-4-1!

First of all how did you enter the circle of awesome known as the Black Rock Collective?
I'm fairly certain my doppelganger, Olly Moss was responsible for the break in.

Tell us a little bit about your ‘BRC series’ design.
Awhile back I was stuck somewhere with only a 5 dollar bill, a pen, and my love for Kurt Russell to entertain me. Snake Plissken, probably being one of the most recognizable characters to attach to our pal Lincoln. Emailed the image to Flickr with my phone and by the time I got home it had close to ten thousand views. I figured I owed everyone a decent design as a thank you.

Which BRC project has been the most interesting to you as an artist?
Most definitely our custom card deck. Blair, put an ass load of work into those and they turned out amazing.
