@stablercake : the space rock t-shirt is from my band. i have feel ones, if you wanna, call me. send me a personal message on flickr.
i'm glad you like it!
That's a great design, but after receiving my first two teefury shirts I just can't order it. The t-shirts run big and are low quality. Step up to the plate and print on high quality tees like American Apparel!!
After receivng my first 2 teefury shirts I'm 100& confident in their sizing & quality. They fit perfectly for me.
I love your use of colour halftoning & the fact that you turned the biggest tattoo cliches of snake & knife (all you needed was a skull & roses) into something interesting.
TeeFury shirts are the best quality shirts I've ever purchased online. The printing is EXCELLENT, they wash well, and they fit perfectly! I am amazed at the quality, especially given the super-low price!
I'm so glad to see Sassa's work again! Great job on this design, I love it :) If I was a bigger fan of white shirts I would possibly order it but I'm not so hot on them. Love this design, congrats on the print :)
I do think that TeeFury shirt run big, and I can see how that may be a problem if you already wear smalls, but if not, why can't you just go down a size? As a matter of fact, I might even say that TeeFury smalls fit me better than any other shirt I've bought online!
Also, the print quality is just fine, I don't know what you're complaining about.
Today's print is good, but just not me. Also can't justify it after buying one just a few days ago D:
Really nice work though
Agreed! I've been really astounded at the quality, especially in the girls' shirts. Unlike quite a few places I've bought shirts from online, the TeeFury ladies' XL is ACTUALLY an XL instead of a Medium in disguise *cough anothersite and DBH*
The ladies' TeeFury shirts are definitely softer than the mens', though.
Looks like I missed the ship on my replies about the quality of the tees here, but I'll post anyways. (And thanks to teefury for not deleting my comments... I respect you for that.)
I realize I'm speaking to people from all over the US when I say the shirts aren't very well-fitting and aren't the quality I expect, so I shouldn't expect many of you to have the exposure to agree with me. I'm from Southern California, as is teefury, and as is American Apparel (which shirt.woot prints on). I wear mostly SoCal brand t-shirts, like RVCA, Obey, etc. which all fit/are cut incredibly well and made of excellent soft materials. American Apparel sells blanks inexpensively in bulk, are cut similarly well, and have fantastic quality (so much that they command $15+ in retail stores just for the same blank tees), and are made in Los Angeles, not Sri Lanka or China. I only assumed that a company like teefury, not only competing directly with shirt.woot who prints on AA, but also a SoCal company would have the game to support the local SoCal company (AA) and also appeal to a customer base that is more discerning. It's a real shame because teefury has much better designs than shirt.woot in general.
My two t-shirts from teefury will unfortunately see nothing beyond sweat and car work duty. :(
A word from the curator Like everything Sassa designs, this piece is incredibly skilled- I love the way the snake's skin almost seems to glimmer. He's taken some imagery that usually seems very dangerous and instead twisted it to be about fun. Awesome!
Tell us the background of this design. Well I developed it in the middle of a personal crisis. Everyone make mistakes and have sins and each and every one of us must face them by ourselves. People find many ways of self punishment. The serpent is killing this sins by killing itself. I’ve chosen to draw my sins. What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you? I'm a 33 years-old brazilian, graduated on arts and my life is all about drawing, music and art creation. I work with newspaper strips daily for about 10 years now and love this challenging job. I also do wall painting, tattoos, caricatures and sometimes, coffee. I’m AKA Nosferatus, and I am a member of a band called Trilöbit. We play a vertent of space rock. What do you absolutely not want them to find out? That I play a two strings guitar... oops Name a few of your favorite things. Sandwiches, my wife (when she's happy), mountain bike, videogames, wall painting, japanese horror movies, hotrods, tattoos, make good friends, animals, comics and cartoons What are your feelings on jungles? I live in Brazil, so i don't mind about jungles. There are lizards, hares, owls, falcons, snakes, monkeys, all in my neighborhood. Pantanal is a different and must see kind of jungle. A lot of exotic animals over there. The atmosphere is good in the jungle but also we have annoying mosquitoes. Do you prefer the earth, the moon, or the sun? The moon, for sure. I always wanted to see a big earthshine, from the moon. In the moon all paths are shorter too. Earthquake vs. King Kong: which would win the battle? If King kong are in the top of the empire state at the start of the fight I bet all my credits on earthquake. In a solo fight king beats kong and quake beats earth. Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much. Maybe a green one with the first mickey mouse ever drawed. I like it because the material is fine and the design is ugly. And it's very comfortable Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium. Gaming, for sure. At gaming you can read and watch movies at same time. My favorite game is Pro evolution soccer when played against my friends. For solo games I prefer Metal gear solid series. What inspires your work? Many things inspire my work like tv cartoons, comics, underground life, human behavior, newspapers, youtube, people on streets, art at streets, music, but above all of this I think drawing is a great escape from the real world. Real world sucks! Any shout outs? Never stop the rock! Thanks , Michelle and teefury staff for making me feel like a V.I.P.

I think I'll wait for another $5 grab bag day, hope I have money, and take my chances. I always get fun shirts on those days.
