A word from the curator:
When you're a bird, if you want to fly any kind of distance, you're going to be doing it as part of a group. And let's face it, being stuck behind some other guy's tail feathers is not the most scenic of views. No, for a bird, their moment in the sun is when they're at the front of the formation. That's when they're determining the direction for their entire group, setting a course, and powering through the clouds while the others coast on their tailwinds.
Tell us the background of this design.
I was just thinking of a way I could interpret the quote "Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle" - Abe Lincoln. Take the concept and design as you see it.
How did you get started designing t-shirts?
Back 3 years ago when I was 13, I really enjoyed playing video games on the computer. That's where I found my first forum and that brought me into designing signatures with the program gimp. I downloaded Photoshop and practiced excessively until I knew every inch of the program. This past summer, I thought designing shirts would be pretty cool and that's just what I did.
What advice would you offer to aspiring designers?
Practice and practice some more. You can't get good unless you practice. If you're making your art digitally, master the programs you're working with.
What would be your dream job?
Teaching commercial art while freelancing on the side. I'd also like to be a highschool baseball coach.
What are your feelings on photography?
I think photography is a great way to express oneself.
Do you prefer tortilla chips, potato chips, or poker chips?
Poker chips, I love texas hold 'em. Play it all the time.
Atlantic vs. Pacific: which would win the battle?
I have no idea.
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
Erm...it's not really a designer shirt, but I like the AIR Jordan shirts I own.
What was your favorite as a kid: comics, cartoons, or movies? Was there a specific title you liked most of all?
Well as a little kid I loved the movie The Goonies. The famous Truffle Shuffle is awesome, right?
What are a few of your favorite websites?
Well my website - www.vo1ture.com
www.designbyhumans.com
www.teefury.com
www.evokeone.com
www.slashthree.com

NO IT WOULD NOT. I wear a Women's XL and a Men's M. I'd say you'd want a Women's L or M, depending on which end of the Men's small spectrum you're on.
ABOUT THE SHIRT-
Not enough impact for me this time, sorry :C

I wear a women's SM and a Men's SM. Some of that may be because I am female. But the men's SM was a little big for me. It only fit well after it shrunk. The women's SM I wash cold so it won't shrink, because its perfect as is for me. So, to answer your question, I would say depending on the men's size spectrum, the sizing difference is about a 1 size difference. If that makes any sense. So if you wear a men's M, a women's LG or XL will fit you, just remember shrinkage.

it's the composition and the idea of the shirt that make it so awesome. you could give anyone a paintbrush and are they going to make a work of art? most likely not...
anyway, i'm in. maybe even for 2 :)

@Tuism: On the right images, the first is just photomanipulation (stocks from sxc.hu and free DA stocks), second is just photoshop only, and third is a collaboration with Brandon Wagner. He used C4d to create the main render. You can view bigger resolutions on my site.
Thanks everyone for the kind comments!
