it's been a while since i bought a shirt & when i tried to login i messed up & it said "there is something wrong in Denmark" which is a misqoute & i knew that because i was recently in a production of hamlet & it was a lot of fun & i really have a better understanding of myself & acting & shakespeare & the english language! Did you know "There's method to this madness" & "Neither are borrower nor a lender be" & "to thine own self be true" & so on & so forth & look at how off topic i'm getting!

Anyway, this shirt is awesome & I might have to buy it because I can be a typography geek sometimess & i've missed the other cool typography shirts like Lorem Ipsum! & the & is funny because I always try to write &'s and i always mess them up!

@Doja that's a sweet logo! never seen it before, but Teevil is right, the ampersand has been causing type nerds to drool for years.

PAYPAL ERROR

There have been intermitten issues with paypal. It seems to stem from the browser thinking that there is no product saved in the cart for order. Unless there is an issue we are not seeing, the error associated with the paypal rejections seem to all come from our system sending a zero dollar sale request to paypal. Please check to make sure that items are not being emptied from when you begin your paypal request.

I love this aesthetic. For some reason it seems to project an air of happiness, and postive karma. Wouldn't you agree? Also, although my personal artwork doesn't reflect it, Simplicity in art does have great appeal. Add another to my wardrobe!

Tell us about this design.

This design started with a pattern and then ended up celebrating the luscious curves of the ampersand.

Tell us about yourself.

I'm a goofy kid and an all around nice guy. In January I married my childhood sweetheart and moved to Austin. If I'm not drawing, scanning, or gazing into my computer screen you can find me playing Wii or riding bicycles with my young bride.

Can you give us an overview of your tools/computer/equipment?

I'm working with sharpie pens, whatever pencil I find, and a 15" MacBook Pro outfitted with a legal copy of CS4! I also enjoy using watercolor, gouache, and collage.

Who/What has been your most interesting client/art job?

Dent May has been really fun to work with. We're both young and new to our scenes. I created his sleeve artwork for his debut album on Paw Tracks (Animal Collective's label). When working on the artwork we were both in Mississippi indulging ourselves with culture via cyberspace. It's been really interesting watching him take off.

Mad Max, Terminator, Aliens, Predator, and Darth Vader? Who is the victorious one?

Well, Aliens & Predator would probably kill each other off and Terminator would get caught up in politics eliminating those three. When you get down to it Mad Max is really Mel Gibson who yes was Brave, but also waxed his legs and wore panty hose. In the end, Darth Vader wins out solely because of the force. C'mon, it's the FORCE! So rad.
