    @digifreke- actually the star wars movies are numbered as episodes... the first three are Episode IV, Episode V, and Episode VI and then the second three are Episode I, Episode II, and Episode III.

    This rash of celebrity likeness tees, I regret to say, leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Moreso because I don't want Teefury to slapped with a copyright infringement suit than because of staleness...

    That said, Olechka is mad talented and this tee, I must admit, it pretty awesomesauce.

    I just... don't get these sorts of shirts.

    It's like "name something you like. Oh, House? I'll draw exactly that."

    Yesterday's Lebowski was at least done in a totally different style, and the previous Cobain tee had a concept that utilized Kurt without just being about him. But this is... well, it's very well drawn, but it's unofficial merch, to me. And it's especially obvious being the third "famous people on a tee" shirt in a row.

    I agree pretty much completely with Adder above... while the shirt's illustration (and the past couple) have been done well, I'm not a big fan of pop culture/commercial-referencing apparel, so I've been pretty bored with the past few selections. If I were a fan of the show I'd be a fan of the shirt...

    Hm, as much as I love House (and want his face to be between my Uhura), this isn't my cup of tea. The text is last minute-looking and I don't get the skin disease. It's a really nice drawing otherwise, just not for a shirt.

    and my t-shirt idea was rejected? I'm not feeling this design at all. I can appreciated that the drawing is impressive and realistic but then just sticking it on a t-shirt with a questionable typeface doesn't make it good?

    Olechka is super talented and yes there have been a few TV/pop culturey tees in a row but hey it's only a few days, tomorrow is a new day and a new shirt.

    This tee is stunning and for the House fans it's a total must have. Well done Olechka it's gonna be a top seller me thinks.

    It's a great drawing, but like others have mentioned, the type treatment is horrible. Even the swirls don't integrate to the drawing for me.

    I do have a friend that would kill for something like this, so I'll pass along the link!

    Very amazing. Sadly, I'm not a fan of House at all. Just the way he acts bothers me... He doesn't seem professional at all.

    While it goes without saying hat the illustration is fantastic, the type & computer graphic without a doubt ruins it completely. It's an odd typeface and it's off center. When in doubt, seriously just use Helvetica Neue as a default.

    As for the computer graphic, it should have been done by hand. This just looks lazy.

    So in the end:
    House drawing is win.
    T-shirt on TeeFury is fail.

    Great drawings! Not a House fan (simply because I don't watch much TV - though lately I've been into Fringe...). Also, not crazy about the photoshopped swirls, I feel that they look out of place on the drawing, but the cat and the wolves are fantastic and I'll def. be looking out for them on TeeFury.

    I really really love the illustration but like others have said, the type ruins it for me. It's an odd font and it's totally off center, It doesn't look like it's meant to be there, like, it looks like it was just added last minute.

    I think weak typography is just a big big gripe for me as a graphic designer.

    I really love your work though, and admire your drawing skills. I hope I didn't come across as a hater!

    Teknikas - not sure what you mean by "from scratch." I used a reference for all of the drawings. In most cases I try to add something of my own to the drawing, and I rarely draw it EXACTLY like the original. The second drawing is from a photograph I took of my grandpa, the cat belongs to my friend, who took a picture of it, and the wolves and the girl were in a calendar and magazine.

    I'm going to have to disagree completely with a lot of the criticism. The swirls and such are pretty necessary for integrating the design into the shirt and I think the transition is done pretty smoothly. The shirt without any text looks too much like a box on a shirt. I also quite like the font and I think it matches with the style of the rest of it pretty well. The text could be more centered but it honestly doesn't really make a difference in my opinion. Very nice work.

    mrwednesday - thank you, and I am glad that you see why I used the swirls. I thought and still think that they work well with the design (not going to argue with those who don't agree, I'm not here to change anyone's mind). For t-shirts, I like this better than the simple portrait.

    I think the use of realism from the portrait to the graphic quality of the typeface and design are an interesting contrast. House's face seems to be coming out from the shirt and the design underneath. Also, the beautiful thing about so many famous works of art are the quirks and lack of perfection/symmetry. For instance: The Father of Modern Art, Paul Cezanne.

    Therefore, brilliant drawing and equally brilliant design. Not last-minute work at all. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of House, but will definitely recommend this shirt to my friends who are. Good luck with sales, and hope to see more of your work in the future. And I also am starting a war with Teextile for not processing my order for your lion tee last week :(

    Man...I was actually linked to this shirt on MySoti from Reddit around 2 months ago. The link on MySoti sat undisturbed along with my many usual pages that I visit as a Firefox tab until I finally acted on it and bought it 2 weeks ago! Now, I wish that I would have held out a bit longer and been able to support TeeFury more, along wiht it being a bit cheaper. Oh well.

    I love it. I do wish that the design would've been printed higher on the shirt for the MySoti one. Hopefully, it's at least a bit higher on this one!

    i haven't been on teefury in a couple days so i'm really glad i came to look today! i absolutely love hugh laurie. i've loved him since before he ever did house, when he was known for the britcoms he was involved in quite a while back. i also really love house, and this portrait of him is AMAZING. i am buying 2 of these so i can wear one and keep the other so it will never get ruined.

    i see what people are saying about the contrast between the portrait and the swirls and the typeface used ... but i think it all manages to work together somehow.
