Ahaha I didn't get the whole "duck duck goose" thing until I read rahmer81's comment... Hillarious! I wish I could wear the women's sizes... even the xl is too small for my (well, this may be tmi) boobs. If there was an xxl or xxxl in womens, I would so buy. I don't like the color of the men's shirt.
What is this world coming to? When people have a hard time realizing the significance of something as simple as Duck Duck Goose, it's time to start worrying about what is going on in society.
I can't believe people are complaining about the omission of the teefury bird. It's much better not to have the "LOOK WHERE I GOT THIS SHIRT AREN'T I COOLER THAN HOLLISTER" logo on it. Bleargh sorry I Arrrgggh logos of shirtmakers on shirts. Tack-y.
ANYWAY, I love the simplicity of this shirt :) Wish the print on the girls' shirt was darker so you could see it. Like a DARK TEAL or MAGENTA. That would have been the bees' knees.
Well actually Stabler, I didn't think much about the idea behind the shirt when I first looked at it. The Duck, Duck, Goose! aspect of it didn't really set in until later, and I do agree, having the Teefury bird there would have been a negative. Looking at this shirt in an artistic way, rather than an ideological one, I would have liked to have the bird there.

Cute.
Would've been really awesome if Teefury bird was on the shirt like the silhouette, hahaha.
hahaha. Amazing concept. Trying to decide if I will be spontaneous enough to actually wear this often enough, so mark me down for a maybe...
Oh, and to atbabel and Aureleus: Yep, you guys are strange. Must be the proximity to canada eh? lol jk jk had to poke fun. Seriously though that is the first time I have ever heard of "duck duck grey duck".
This is supercute, just not my style. Makes me wish teefury did kids shirts, though.
I agree as, much as I love (and look pretty damn good in) the yellow ladies shirts, I would love some diversity. The light shirt and light graphic print just isn't doing this design many favors.
Is this a joke? The artist couldn't even bother to make a third duck, he just re-used the first one and placed it slightly lower. This piece actually smurfs.
My friend would absolutely love this shirt, but seriously, banana? It just seems the girl's shirt had been on either powder blue or banana/cream for the past week.
I agree with others from MN - the game is duck, duck, grey duck. Which actually would have been a cooler image, I think - to simply change the color of the third duck to grey.
Since I absolutely cannot ever support the belief that the game is called duck, duck, goose, I will be whining this shirt.
I am from northern Iowa, and we also played duck, duck, grey duck, although occassionally it would be duck, duck, goose. I think it depended on the supervising teacher and where they were from. Also, I'm not a big fan of logos slapped on shirts, but in this case I think it would have added to the design, and Teefury rarely does it so I wouldn't have minded :)
THANK YOU! GEEEEZZZ! colors are colors. i feel for all the boys who like pastels and light colors and all the girls who like darker colors. how does t-shirt color selection go about because i feel like a lot of the designers here are male and seems to think all girls like yellow.
Why don't you TeeFury folks listen? Didn't I tell you before about CONTRAST?
The color of the girls' shirt is LAME! (And I don't wear guys' cuts.)
To the artist, I like ducks and I loved playing Duck, Duck, Goose. Yours is a really FUN design. But, again, TeeFury thinks that women like nothing but muted, powdery, low-contrast colors that hide the art, and that couldn't be farther from the truth.
here is a crazy bunny drawing/design I made awhile ago:

I've been intending to maybe look into getting a tee on here, but haven't had the time yet. If people dig my work I'd be more keen on going for it. Obviously I'd have to scale down some of the details, but if it were just the rabbit and the elephants I think that might look cool...
also, to everyone that isn't digging the women's colors lately it could be that they have a surplus of those particular colors and are pressing the designs onto those colors before re-ordering a different color... maybe...
I bought yesterday so I can't today. I like the concept. I have to agree that the women's shirt is a "Lame Duck" The color stinks.
Why does the womens shirt have to be a different color anyway?
TeeVil, you may write that your gal's shirt is "selling like hotcakes," but your graph suggests to me otherwise.
Not long ago, I bought a red shirt from TeeFury with the design printed in purple ink. Although I felt that there was not enough contrast between the two colors, I liked the design so much, I purchased it anyway. (If I'm not mistaken, the guy's shirt was black with a bright green design -- HUGE difference!) Someone from TeeFury responded to all of the comments about color, saying that the purple ink would look darker on the actual shirt. I have the shirt now and it does not. In fact, I have caught people in public squinting at my shirt, trying to make out the design. It is of such disappointingly low contrast, it's ridiculous.
And, again, I bought a RED shirt. So, what's this about limited women's colors? Fabric is fabric and ink is ink. They don't favor one sex or the other.
I love what you folks do here and your prices are unbeatable. But, PLEASE, up the contrast between fabric and ink on the gals shirts. The designs need to stand out more.
This takes me back to elementary school when I was happy, long before my eyes grew weak from staring at computer screens, and the drudgery of life sucked the will for me to strive for excellence. This shirt is cheaper than Zoloft. Get some!
Tell us about this design:
This is to reminisce an old favorite from elementary school when we were kids. I wanted to keep it simple and to the point by using one color and only silhouettes.
Tell us about yourself:
I am the senior graphic artist for a promotional marketing firm in North Carolina near Research Triangle. I live in Raleigh and I spend most of my day in front of this machine. I try to relax in the evenings by getting outside, catching a movie on the couch, or getting out to play some pool with friends. I hope to grow in this type of design, as this is my first submission for voting online. Please let me know what you think!
MAC or PC?
I am stuck on a PC running Vista in my office, however it is a 2.1 quad core, so it hauls pretty well at times. At home - all Mac.
Do you have any interesting hobbies or tales of intrigue? Do tell!
I once designed a T-Shirt for Nicky Sixx of the Crue for the reunion tour. That's the extent of my fame.
Any shout outs?
I have to say thank you to all the people that voted for me on DBH to get me a spot at TeeFury! "Mid Fives" to every one of you! (Try it - it's catchy)
