    OMG, I don't know what you're talking about.

    I love this shirt. The only thing I don't like is the back leg, because I don't think it's quite right, but I'm no artist.

    And also, it's too masculine for me. I'll have to ask my boyfriend if he likes it and get him one if he does.

    I'm not a big horse/unicorn/pegasus person. I do like the shirt. But, I think the original design colors are much better and I'd even consider getting that shirt!

    The colors are nice on this tee, though. Great job :).

    I'm a guy, and when I saw the shirt I thought it was too 'girl-y' for me. Sooo, yeah, lol.

    I agree with previous comments that the original was better.

    And thanks to kxsoccer, I took a second look at the neck and it made me realize that the horse/neck looks exactly like a chess piece.
    Which is awesome.

    yeah i agree. one thing RVC does right is have well laid out sites. the portfolio and its brothers have some really good looking stuff on them and they are really easy to navigate

    Man I totally respect anyone that can draw a full piece with the pen tool. I SUUUUUCK on the computer and would love to be able to turn some of my art into shirt designs!

    Haha. Besides this design being corny altogether, it's totally disproportionate. I'm not trying to hate on the artist because he's up there and I'm not, but the horse's neck is larger than it's body. I would probably have bought this shirt if it was a unicorn, because at least then it would have been funny. But, heck that's just my opinion. Congrats on the print!

    I might have bought this if it were in the original colors because it looks vicious and awesome, but I own too many black shirts already. The neck and back legs of Pegasus are kinda freaking me out as well, but this is an awesome concept!

    I love this like crazy. I would have preferred that the flames weren't just plain blue though... a little more green or purple in the blue would have made this shirt so much better.

    lol yeah i cant really understand why, if some1 doesnt like a design, they would go though all the effort to logging in and so forth JUST to leave a bad unconstructive comment. if i dont like a design, i just close the window and move on! why would i care about a person's opinion who doesnt like a design?!

    The artwork is high quality. But this would make me feel too much like i'm wearing a swedish power metal album cover. All it needs is "Storming Fart Hammer" or some other ridiculous band name across the top.

    Nonetheless, great artwork. I'd be interested to see more from Ryan Vs Clark.

    the past TWO weeks have been suuuuuuch a letdown.

    +: blue on black looks cool, good detail

    -: Hind legs look weird/off-perspective, and i wouldn't wear this shirt if someone held a gun to my head

    Oh my god, the Queen of Hearts is incredible! I love that shirt.

    I'm personally not a big fan of blue and purple, especially on black, to wear, but I think I'm going to go against the crowd here and say that I like these colors way better than the one's in your portfolio. Props on the print and the site and your skills in general.

    I like this a lot. I believe its a nice design. My only suggestion is to look at an actual photo of a horse in this pose. The neck is way too long. But only I would notice! ^_^ I first started drawing horses as a kid and really didn't stop until I was in lower High School.

    I'm a mythology freak so of course I like the shirt. Liked it enough that not only did I buy one (for me...nobody else in the family TOUCHES it) but I finally joined the site too. Also a huge horse and equestrian fan too so I suppose the shirt was a duh, no questions asked love it.
    As for the colors, purple is one of my favorite colors and most my wardrobe is either black or deep colors (most everting matches). Yeah, the wings might be a bit small but I'm not complaining. First actual t-shirt I've bought in a real long time.

    Wow, some people are just plain rude.
    It is very helpful to hear about what people think can be improved or done differently, but lot of today's negative comments are not constructive criticism at all, but seem more like attacks to me. Perhaps I'm overreacting because I am an artist myself, but it hurts to read some of the things said here. And there seems to be more and more of these.

    I have to agree that the back legs really don't fit at all, they're not proportional.
    Change the legs and revert back to the original color though, and I would have bought it.
    I really don't understand why the colors changed from the original design...

    Err, what is a pegasus' original color? Just because Pegasus (capital spelling from Greek mythology) was white doesn't mean all pegasi were/are. Look at "Fantasia" from Disney. The baby pegasi were not white. Besides, it's art. As for constructive criticism, I've always thought pegasi had more flowing and longer hair. Maybe because I'm a girl, or just my spin on things. Looking at the back legs, they're behind part of a broken pillar so not all of the back leg is shown. What you see is only a little more than a good half of the leg or so, that's not the full representation of it.
    I would have liked to see the wings bigger, or even cooler, maybe kinda metallic-like (ever play the game "Titan Quest" then you'll kno what I mean). As for the masculine aspect someone brought up, it all depends upon the guy wearing it. Some guys can pull this off, some guys can't. Like not all girls would EVER wear frilly foofy dresses of Barbie pink.

    Olechka by being an artist you should be familiar with harsh judgments and harsh critiques. If you get your feelings hurt by that then you should not be an artist. As for this shirt... its not for me, its way to foo foo for me and also the Pegasus is WAY out of proportion, legs, head, wings, all belong to a different body. Sorry but even with it being a fictional animal its still based off a horse. The colors are just fine to me. The Queen of Hearts though is super!! Though i hate light colored shirts, that print would have been WAY better than this one.

    p.s. Olechka i liked your House drawing but didn't care for the burn marks on his face nor it being on a white shirt. But the big kicker for me was the burn scars... it looked great don't get me wrong but i think it would have worked better if they were not added. I also watch the show B^)

    hey thanks olechka! theres a level of respect/maturity that i think designers give to each other with critiques, thanks for the thoughts. there will always be haters right?

    and as for the horse i guess my reference photo must have been the andre the giant of horses. i know for fact there is a horse somewhere like this one.

    If you are referring to what i said, then you got it all wrong! if you cant take bad criticisms about your work then you should not show your work! don't expect everyone to love your work, and don't expect everyone to give you feedback why they don't like this or that, nor how to improve. And if you are displaying your work on the internet then get ready to hear a lot of bad things about your work!!! You are not surrounded by classmates or other artists, you will get rude comments and useless posts. Look for the few rare nuggets of info you can get and use that to better your craft.

    Moreover, you probably discouraged the artist, Ryan vs. Clark. I doubt he will stop, and sure, it's part of being an artist cause everyone with an opinion will spew it out like it really matters, but seriously...

    Would you go into a restaurant and as people are ordering their food, smurf and complain that you don't like the look of the dish, and linger around just to continue to express your negative opinions about it?

    I can barely work the pen tool, and I'm in a specialized arts program. It's not easy.
    You guys need to learn to appreciate the effort that goes into this, and comes out with such a good product.

    OMG The pen tool for the entire thing, you are... insane. As much as I adore Illustrator and its vector amazing, I don't think I could could sanely sit there and pint-click-drag for more than an hour. At a time at least.

    But its great, the flow of the Pegasus is so graceful and terrifying, now I just need to see your gallery ;3
