Word from MJ: Admit it, when you watched the Batman tv show you were totally rooting for the villains. While Adam West was kind of a one-dimensional cornball who seems to survive from one episode to the next purely by chance, evil-doers like The Black Widow, The Joker, and Catwoman knuckled down and made elaborate plans for changing their own lives for the better. If nothing else, you have to respect their work ethic- these guys never stopped, even after it should have been clear that the deck was stacked against them in Gotham City. Maybe the best part of this shirt is that looking at it, bad as things seem, I just know the tables were turned five minutes into the next episode and Batman survived to see another day.
Tell us about this design. I wanted to draw the great Bats in a more contemporary fashion, something funny and subtle that was a far cry from the usual fan art.
Tell us about yourself. I'm a freelance illustrator/Flash web designer out here in Los Angeles trying to fulfill my childhood dream of drawing for a living. I've worked on everything from retouching movie posters, to children's books, websites for Miramax, to designing entire lines for up and coming t-shirt companies. I try to be as easy going and open minded as possible, and to infuse my work with the twisted sense of humor that i was born with. I love art, every facet of it, and strive to be cradled in it's bosom for the rest of my life, and hopefully it's a nice bosom.
Jack Bauer (24) vs Jason Bourne (Bourne series) vs James Bond (007)? Sean Connery would hammer fist Bourne in the back as they were struggling, and no amount of quick camera work or ball point pens stuck in hands would save him as the man gave him the ol's Scottish piledriver, sending him floors below onto Jack Bauer, showing up to the fight late because he looks at his watch too damn much.
Are there any ongoing art projects you would like to promote? I'm starting my own t-shirt company this year, the name is secret since I haven't copyrighted it yet, but I plan on printing a lot of stuff for myself for once. Look for Intergalactic Reign as well. I won't blow up the Earth to make way for an expressway though, don't worry, not as long as I have this trusty towel with me...

Oh man holy tits I would buy that Soviet-esque moustache guy with the wheat on the bottom, there. He is the bee's knees.

And the shirt, awesome stuff, though I'd rather have it as a poster than wear it as a shirt.
