Really cool design. Love the armadillo genie. Some really cool textures on him, like the circle scales, which I like drawing, but not in that scale pattern, gives a really cool effect. The inside of his ear looks like a feather, and the back of it makes that pretty cool weave effect that interlaces with the scales on his belly. The smoke pouring out of the lamp is pretty neat, not very smoky, but mysterious. The lines in the smoke are my least favorite texture you've used though, looks kinda natural like wood though. Sweet design dude.. just checked out your portfolio, some really good stuff, hopefully we'll see some more of them popping up ;D

Hmm.... Interesting. My tee drawer is already too full tho...

And is it just me or have the last few shirts all had a very similar style to them, that is, kind of nature-y with an emphasis on the flowing leaves look. I am guessing that is meant to be smoke in this one, but still, it looks a lot like some previous shirts to me...

The armadillo is fantastic, but the eyeballs on the right are my absolute FAVORITE! Gorgeous colors and so creepy!

I received my Burrowish today and, it is awesome. I think there should have been a little more contrast between the smoke and the shirt color but I LOVE IT! You can see a pic of it on Wotto's TeeFury Flickr group :

A word from wotto: Tora is the shit. No debate. I have watched him grow as an artist over the last 2 years and boy has he developed a cool style. He is also a handsome, kind, romantic, weird, clever and sexually charged fellow (He tried to kiss me once). I have also had the pleasure of fighting him and he is a quick little ferret. Welcome the Tora with open arms or prepare to get hugged regardless.

Tell us a little about this design.
I wish there was some sort of epic story about this, like a genie armadillo came to me in a comatose dream after I wrestled a feral child for the last nilla wafer or something... but truth be told, I have no idea what this design means or what made me come up with it. I guess I like leaving things open to interpretation. That sounds a lot cooler than saying to myself one day "You know what? I have NEVER drawn an armadillo before. I think I'll give that a whirl. And what the hell, let's throw a magic lamp in there too."

Where in the world are you?
The outskirts of Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the ol US of A

What is your favourite medium?
I don't know where I'd be without my trusty micron pens.

Which superhero power would you like the most and why?
I'd love the ability to never have to wear pants, and have everyone be oblivious of it. Like, Id have the power to project holographic pants on myself, so people would never know the horrible truth behind why I'm so damn comfortable.

Who is the best villain ever?
Shredder. He may have never really gotten the job done, but at least he did it in style. Plus, I still say "Tonight I dine on turtle soup" on a fairly consistent basis.

What was the last song you listened to?
The Duke Spirit - "Send a little love token"

Favourite quote/lyric?
"It takes more than fucking someone to keep yourself warm" -Frightened Rabbit

Who has been the best client you have designed for?
I'll let you know if I ever get one.

How many t-shirts do you own?
I lost track long ago, but know I'm at least well over 50.
