    really beautiful work, especially in her face. but i'm really unsure of the colours, i wish they were different.

    also, the journal on the side, the second down, i'd love the see detail work on it up close. do you have a link or a picture?

    Do you think that a man's size small shirt would fit well on a women who is a size medium?
    I really love the red but the purple is too light and the detail is not as vibrant. I am thinking of ordering the man's shirt in a small, and then maybe trying to shrink it. (?)

    Kind of a neat design here! The color on the men's is nice, but why is the girls so drastically diffrent? ;^; I'm a smidge colorblind so unfortunately the girls is hard to see.

    Nice work in your profile though! Sorry I don't like this one all too much.

    I wish the girls' tee was in the guys' color, because it's A LOT more striking -- or the purple was on a SAGE background. (Don't you folks know that red and purple are too similar to pair them together, unless it's a DEEP purple? Otherwise, there isn't enough contrast.) But I like this design so much, I'm buying it anyway.

    And, GEEZ, am I opinionated or WHAT?

    Also, on the girl's tee, it looks like there's some detail drop-off under her chin and on some of the outer areas of the design.

    Great design and the colors are perfect as is. I like that the purple isn't contrasted against the red. It was the first thing I noticed and liked about the shirt.

    Very interesting design, like it a lot actually. Really hate (once again) the girl's colors - purple and red are a great big no, especially in those two particular shades of the colors. It just hurts to look at it, honestly (and literally, my eyes hurt from trying so hard to focus on it) - the fine detail is made fuzzy and lost by the poor color contrast and its extremely difficult to focus or see any of the fine details of this design that make it really an excellent piece of work.

    The men's design is a lot better, but I think the color of green just seems wrong for the design itself honestly. I think that this piece needs some very bold, sharp, high contrasting colors to bring out just how detailed and beautiful it is because from a distance without that, it just looks like a scrambled blob of lines on a shirt. I mean, honestly, looking at the shot with the models you can't even tell what it really IS on the women's shirt without the men's shirt next to it.

    If you're going for something that isn't so contemporary then it is fine to do colors that aren't neon-bright-eighties style but dull-half-dark-army green isn't it, old newspaper yellow, or washed out red, or even a worn-denim blue would have done this design much more justice on the men's shirt.

    I absolutely LOVE the colors on the girls shirt. They're ridiculous.

    That said, I really do not like the design. It reminds me of tattoo flash style diamonds/gems that are really popular nowerdays. I dig the semi-Constructivist direction you're trying to go, but the piece as a whole isn't doing anything for me.

    So me and Sven played with the colours on this for quite a while. Sven was determined to do something different and I agreed with him. I think the colours for the girls will be gorgeous when it's printed and I do think the purple will be darker than it appears.

    REALLY wish the girls shirt was different colors. Red absorbs too much of the purple, and you're left with a headache. No one would appreciate it... and what's the point of wearing a shirt if no one appreciates it?


    AWESOME design though. I'm thinking about just buying a guys one and wearing it, instead.......

    I wonder when TeeFury will decide to make things to order and just let us choose either colour that they provide. I love this illustration and the green on black, but do I really want another black shirt? Not really.

    I do however want that red one, despite the popular opinion. I love when monochrome designs kind of blend into the shirt rather than a harsh contrast. Probably would have been more interesting if it was Red on White.

    I LOVE the design. But I don't like the girls colors, so instead I ordered a guys for my boyfriend. (: We always fight about who gets to get the shirt on sale... I guess today he won. Yet I paid for it?! haha.

    the main difference is in the waist. The woman's shirt is designed to fit the female curves. Soooo...i don't know if it would fit the male form...unless, it was a feminine man. ^_^ (i guess) I would guess it would be a woman's med. I wear men's small, and women's small.

    I enjoy the design quite a bit. I agree, the red washes out the design. Possibly, a tan color would have worked better. I would also suggest, for next time, to offset the design, and make the female head tiliting into the shirt a bit more. Many of the portraits back in the 20s were either over the shoulder or 3/4ths view with the figure leaning into the frame. Its just a suggestion.

    I also like the sketch book (?). I would love to get my hands on that. Is there a website selling it?

    Personally, I love whatever is different...something most wouldn't like or be brave enough to wear...That is why I looooove the girl's shirt. As a rule, most people would agree that purple and red are not to be worn together, and, as you can see, many think it's an extremely ugly combination. To me that makes it all the more beautiful!!! Not only is it fresh and eye-catching, but it is a love it or hate it piece.

    Wotto, you said that the purple on the ladies tee will be darker. What about the areas of the design where it looks like the color didn't take (on the ladies shirt only) and detail and definition are lost? Will that look better on the finished ladies shirt? Thanks.

    I purchased a mans small...The face on the shirt in the advertised photograph had blocks of green color...The shirt I received had just the outlines of the blocks...Looks like the girls shirt which is not what I was expecting. How come the shirt does not look like the photo and is that typical???
    I still like the shirt but would have liked the one in the photo better.
