A word from the curator:
I love the way Aman draws birds- their poses suggest kindness, as their wings reach out to give you hug (or maybe just shake hands, if it's a more formal occasion). His empty eyes convey his inherent bird-brained outlook, like a flaky relative who can't ever seem to get your age or name right. I'm also digging the ribbon-y tail, which looks pretty awesome as it twists and sways in the air- I'd love to see a bird like this in motion.
Tell us the background of this design.
Nothing special, it's just one of my favorite "imaginary" characters...
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
That I love chocolate. Seriously!
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
Why would I tell ’em if I don’t want ’em to find it out? But a minor secret is that I’m lazy as a headless sloth...
Name a few of your favorite things.
My girlfriend, drawing, computer and computer games, photography, street-art, sleeping.
What are your feelings on graffiti?
Bad, very, very bad! But if you’d do it anyway, always look around and wear a glove. Never try to cross chrome pieces with your own, as chrome sometimes hits normal colors... Ehmm.. I’ve only heard it from my friend, never experienced...
Who is your favorite scientist?
I don’t really have one, maybe one with a short life, and the least things a scientist ever invented... I just don’t like to learn them... But maybe Neumann, one for he was hungarian, two for he invented my favorite gaming platform.
Werewolf vs. ninja: who would win the battle?
Definitely a pirate, after the ninja killed the werewolf he would strike.
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
I can’t make a choice, I love them all, that’s why I buy them. But I prefer designer shirts, they’re pretty unique in my country.
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
Gaming – Warcraft, I just love the universe. And an old one: Neverhood, my alltime favorite, inspired me a lot!
What inspires your work?
Street-art and anything wich I think looks good, it could be even a concrete streetlamp, a cat, or a waterpipe.
Any shout outs?
Thanks for selecting me too :)
