nits: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black... The colors in the design is waht CMYK has to do with it.

I have to say, Jimi, I'm not seein' a pure CMYK here either (the red and yellow seem too dark)... but nevertheless, I totally get the joke/concept, and I am incredulous that anyone who does design or printing wouldn't.

I love slaterock's work! I own at least 300 t-shirts and 'She Plays Devil Music' is easily a top-10 favorite, and I was lucky enough to get 'In Pachydermic Fashion' and 'Pending Peril' as Thriftees back when there was such a thing as a Thriftee.

I'm still undecided about this one but it's really weird and I do like weird....

This is my favorite curated design of the month! For those who aren't familiar with the printing process, they might just see some quirky fellow and some weird crosshairs, but to those enlighted printing geeks, this has it all. Registration marks, halftones, and CMYK, the best CMYK shirt on the net IMO!

Tell us about this design.

I worked on the floor of a screen printing shop, as well as in the art department. I always remember the boss freaking out if the registration was off, but sometimes it made some interesting "happy accidents". So I thought I would dedicate a design to the idea of registration being "off".

Are there any ongoing art projects you would like to promote?

I currently am running a site called Cotton Werks (www.cottonwerks.com), and am starting work on another project that I don't feel ready to disclose details about. Hopefully it's cool.

In a duel to the death, Jean Luc Picard or Captain Kirk? And Why?

Jean Luc Picard, because his accent is killer, and Next Generation was one of the only Star Trek series I watched on a regular basis.

You win a million dollars, what do you do?

Take a year off. I say a year, cause I think that's all the time a million dollars would last me. I'm a spender. Ask my wife.
