A word from wotto: WANT!
You have skills, how did you acquire them?
Well, it all started when I was a little kid, and I loved to draw, like pretty much all of us did. I drew on everything. Eventually I started to draw inventions. I'd think up the weirdest stuff. Candy machines that could make everything, machines where you could play a computer game and money would come out, anything that popped up into my mind. Ever since, I had a pretty much split interest in art and in the deeper mechanics of stuff. I'm not all that technical, but I somehow like systems, I like to know how things work. But on the other side, I like creating impossible stuff, without having to know how it works, or how it could work. It kinda goes both ways for me I guess.
With the interests I explained above, I started combining regular objects to create living things. Somehow robots have always fascinated me. I saw eyes in the speakers of a boombox, so it instantly became a face for me. Blasting music through his eyes. After that I attached the theme and name 'Noise Pollution' to it, and I started drawing stuff that fit in the theme. Tv, some more boomboxes, microphone, triangle, etc. After a couple sketches I drew it on a big piece of paper, and traced it with pen and gave it colour with the markers.
A couple days before I had bought some blank white shirts, just to experiment on, see what works and what doesnt. So I drew this one on the shirt as well.
Didn't take me long to figure out it'd look pretty decent when printed, so I scanned the big version and started working from there in Illustrator.
The original intention was to submit it to the Threadless Loves Drawing competition, but things got in the way and I missed the deadline.
I think that would be 'Spiritual Symphony Fin' from Threadless:
Awesome print.
Star Wars or Star Trek?
Wars. I never really got into Trek. Now that I'm thinking about it, I don't really know why. I just never got around to watching or liking Star Trek, and I've watched all of the Star Wars movies, so yeah.
Salvador Dali, Albert Einstein, Natalie Portman. Jack Johnson, and Jimi Hendrix.
An insane artist, a genious, a hot actress who seems really nice, a genuinely cool dude, and a guitar god.
Who has been the best client you have designed for?
I wish I could name some big names here, but no luck. I haven't worked for any big clients so far in the designfield. But if you count Threadless, then they win hands down. 2 prints so far, it's good money.
I'm a terrible dancer, but I'd say Natalie Portman.
Getting printed a couple times at various places, extending my small webdesign/development company, and there are even plans of something I'm not gonna let any details float around just yet. You'll see.
Hard one. A dolphin sounds pretty good to me. Apparently they're intelligent. I'd love to see how intelligent a dolphin really is, first hand. I dunno, I couldn't think of anything better. A sloth? They can chill out all day long.
MY mind is blank here. I thought I'd be able to mention at least a few insane portfolio sites, but I can't.
You could go and buy my shirts on threadless. Don't forget to buy this one right here on Teefury though.

wotto has a thing for robots and jimiyo has a thing for birds. someday they will get sick of them, but now that you said "robot bird" start taking bets on them doing a collaboration of exactly that between them...
