  • raytendosaid 77 weeks ago

    yes.
  • WonderBunnysaid 77 weeks ago

I love your designs Loopy, so I had to pick this up.

Although, nerdy as my boyfriend is, the first thing he thought of this was "Little Shoppe of Horrors".
  • supersprytesaid 77 weeks ago

    Love it. ^_^;
  • dmnysaid 77 weeks ago

I've seen your designs over at shirt.woot. That site got too cute for thier own good. This deisgn however is pretty cool. Congrats.
  • AdderXYUsaid 77 weeks ago

Pff. Who wants an impressionist shirt?
  • AdderXYUsaid 77 weeks ago

Also, what're you doing with that chess shirt? That's Threadless fare if I've ever seen it.
  • BOBsaid 77 weeks ago

oh sweet, super mario bros. items! took me a second to see it, I like it. there's mushroom, leaf, fireflower, and a piranha plant (though not an item, but still cool)
  • SailorButterflysaid 77 weeks ago

    Love the shirt, iLoop!

    Thanks for the shout out!
  • wasabifacesaid 77 weeks ago

I LOVE the whistler's mother parody!
  • Jabbasisaid 77 weeks ago

where have i seen this before ;)

    this shirt is awesome!!
  • stablercakesaid 77 weeks ago

Cute idea, a little unfinished on the execution for my taste.

Love the Whistler's Mother one, though c:
  • Aegissaid 77 weeks ago

    FEED ME! Nice style.
  • Teknikassaid 77 weeks ago

Did wootshirt get a new layout or something...oh wait this is teefury (scratches head) Teefury, careful not to turn into another wootshirt printing stuff like this...I'd say congrats on the print dude, but I'd prefer to see that designs like yours stay within the world of woot and definitely not on Teefury. Not trying to be rude, but your art doesn't seem to reflect the overall style of the shirts that are normally printed on this site...

I hate the taste of sloppy woot derby seconds...teefury fail
  • Teknikassaid 77 weeks ago

Even the picture at the top of the portfolio is "woot cutesy"... This printing is like putting up a sign that says "Woot shirt derby fail, submit here".

  • Nulasaid 77 weeks ago

The picture at the top of the portfolio is awesome and far far too good for woot, and I'm sad that it's them that printed it. Teknikas, you have rubbish taste. Impressionism is awesome.

And WTF are you talking about with regard to a teefury "overall style"? That's totally ludicrous, the stuff printed on here is soooo freaking diverse. That's why we have things that look like tattoos and sketchy caricatures and things that are too stereotypical and occasionally some gorgeous artwork. Can you please explain this overall style?

I'm not a fan of this particular shirt either, but seriously, don't be a CaptainKirk.

  • Storminksaid 77 weeks ago

I think if Teefury was going to break out and use 5 colors it needed to be more worth it. Sorry if that sounds really rude but that's what I feel.
  • Teknikassaid 77 weeks ago

    Simmer down chainsaw.

Nula, this is a comment board and that was my comment...get over it. Go vote in a wootshirt derby or something. Maybe a bit of a stretch, but I'd assume that 90% of the people who regularly frequent this site agree with or at least understand the meaning of my comment.

Now, take a deep breath....breeeeath, eveything will be alright Nula. lol
  • Teknikassaid 77 weeks ago

And btw, I never said I didn't like impressionism so way to jump to conclusions there Sherlock. I actually agree with you in a round about way, impressionism CAN BE awesome.
  • wottosaid 77 weeks ago

Ease up folks. Teefury is all about trying different art everyday for 365 days. Me, MJ and Jimiyo all bring a different flavour to the mix and I for one think that's a good thing. If the shirt aint for you then don't make a purchase, simple. I personally really like Infinity loops' work and the Van Gogh design on the side is so well done, seriously.
  • auryonsaid 77 weeks ago

Always had a soft spot for classical art techniques being used to describe something modern. It's naturally surreal that way.
  • sanderssaid 77 weeks ago

I so want that Pheonix design.

I love the mario bros idea...stinkin classic with Van Gogh.
  • jeremiah was asaid 77 weeks ago

    this looks really nice
  • Jestiksaid 77 weeks ago

    Yup, this one rocks!

    jimiyosaid 77 weeks ago

InfinityLoop Rocks. I had to stare at this design until I realized that it was a Super Mario reference. The heavy use of the shirt color in the design is really good. Helps with overall compositional unity.

Congrats on the print Mz. Loop.
  • flower753said 77 weeks ago

I like this a lot. Wish Tee Fury's shirts fit me better. XL is way too big & L is tight in the hips but fits well on top. :(
  • narkussaid 77 weeks ago

    i love this, loop! : )
  • moetineeshasaid 77 weeks ago

bleh, i've basically stopped coming to this site.

    not a fan.
  • Tikichrissaid 77 weeks ago

2009 has not been a great year for Teefury thus far...
  • undertow976said 77 weeks ago

Feed me Seymour! Feed me! I love the little shop of horrors (80's version)
  • theinfinityloopsaid 77 weeks ago

Thanks TF for printing this! :)

@Adder regarding chess shirt - Threadless? Really? I may have to do a little more work on it though. I feel like I rushed the checkered floor and I need to do something about the placement of the rooks. The current placement may not work well on womens' shirts. LOL. Thanx for the encouragement though. I'll see what I can do.

    @Sailor - You're welcome!!

@Teknikas - Sometimes seconds taste better. I had leftover spaghetti yesterday and it was awesome.

@Wotto, Jimiyo, and MJ - You guys rock. Thank you for all of the nice things you have said about my stuff.

@Sanders - The phoenix design is available to buy here if you would like. It might not be after Monday though.
  • bleousaid 77 weeks ago

yeah, i didn't get the video game reference at first glance. i will get it for the artistic quality. the colors complement each other SO well.

i love it. very nice print.
  • said 77 weeks ago

I thought it was Little Shop of Horrors too for a second...whoops!
Love the design though! I think it's great that you are drawing again.
Imagination is such a great muscle to flex.
    Keep it up!
  • Doctor Fsaid 77 weeks ago

This shirt rocks!... and that's all I have to say.
  • sheyrakelleysaid 77 weeks ago

Like bleou mentioned above, I didn't get the Mario reference at first, but that kind of makes the shirt a point of conversation; that's fun, right? Nice artwork, InfinityLoop.

Regarding the TeeFury "style", I personally believe there isn't really one. When collectives start to develop a style, they're audience becomes narrow, and starts demanding adjustments to maintain the status quo; like "Add more halftones", "Make it bigger" or "Print on AA", etc. Teefury's diversity keeps them approachable.
  • Arrowsaid 77 weeks ago

Very nice, really like your van gogh and is that a degas? Congrats!
  • RonHundredsaid 77 weeks ago

I like this idea of subtle game references, so I bought it, great job TheInfinityLoop!
  • goodgraveysaid 77 weeks ago

Ha! Fairly clever design, I really like it! I like how at first glance it just really looks like a plain...kinda boring still life scene. but...Pirahana plant? AWESOME.
  • cobolisdeadsaid 77 weeks ago

Awesome Job Loopy! Congrats on the print!
  • Teskosaid 77 weeks ago

I really like this a lot...though it's not something I would wear. Also - the first thing I noticed was the PIPE SHAPED vase with the pirahana coming out of it - that was my dead giveaway to a video game reference (i'm a nintendo junkie.) Again, i love this... and all your work is amazing...esp. the phoenix rising.

    Keep it up!

...to whomever commented about the way the shirts fit (i'm assuming you are a woman, correct me if i'm wrong) just get a men's shirt instead if it's too tight in the hips for you.

I love this shirt, excellent work this one needs to be bought. I also love your "whistlers mother" on the right there...cool work and congrats on the print

  • spastasticnomadicsaid 77 weeks ago

Definitely in! I just need to decide on how many. This looks like another good one to stretch on some canvas.

    Congrats on the print, loop!
  • ladynightshadesaid 77 weeks ago

I respect this as a piece of artwork, it's well designed and has clever references.
I personally would not wear it as a shirt though as I don't think it translated well into a shirt.

I'd buy it as a print though.
  • Olechkasaid 77 weeks ago

This makes me want to whip out my Nintendo DS Lite and play some Super Mario Bros!
  • merandduhsaid 77 weeks ago

I really like this shirt! I love THEINFINITYLOOP's style!
  • Nulasaid 77 weeks ago

Teknikas, yes, this is a comment board, but I think there's a difference between commenting in a constructive way or saying "it's not for me" and telling an artist that you think their work is sloppy second reject material. That's just a CaptainKirk thing to say, and it's so unnecessary. Which is why I got angrier than necessary.

Thinking that 90 percent of people agree with your opinions is quite a statement. Might want to check that ego.

Also, "simmer down chainsaw" is a ridiculous statement. When was the last time you saw a chainsaw simmering? You make me laugh.

  • opifan64said 77 weeks ago

This is cool and a very clever idea! I like your work on the sidebar too... quality stuff!
  • IAmTheBorgsaid 77 weeks ago

Yay for me!!!! I've always loved this shirt!!! I'm so glad to be able to get one!! Gush, gush, gush!
  • birdgirlsaid 77 weeks ago

I, for one, love it. Guess that puts me in the 10 percent. I'm buyin'.

And to whoever suggested that the man's shirt will fit a woman when the woman's shirt doesn't (I'm assuming you're a guy), that's not the case. Men's shirts are way too big in the shoulders and under the arms.
  • bleousaid 77 weeks ago

i'm a female and love the guy's shirts. they're not big in the shoulders or the arms. the men's small fits me JUST right. i buy them instead of the girls shirts because i HATE the tiny cap sleeves.
  • birdgirlsaid 77 weeks ago

I'm not crazy about the sleeves, either, but the man's small is way too small in the chest for me (same width as a woman's small). Same thing goes for the hips.
