Lovin' the colours! They stand out nice against the black. Not particularly my style of t-shirt, but you did a wonderful job on it! - Vandal_Skandal

Not my sort of design again, just a little too weird for me, but I freaking LOVE the first design on the right! The man with the globe on his shoulders is amazing!

so is there not gonna be a TF bird shirt this month?
  • wottosaid 157 weeks ago

    awesome artwork
  • twirling aroundsaid 157 weeks ago

i agree with suphia and 2+2=5. it used to be hard not to order a shirt everyday... and now all i see are "designs" i wouldn't spend a penny on. i've also noticed that majority of the comments left on here are positive. i used to think it was an extremely nice community here at tee fury, but i've come to realize that a lot of the negative comments end up getting DELETED by the staff (which i wont be surprised if this one does). everyone has their opinion with art and design and i think tee fury should accept that. if many of us here feel that the selection has gone downhill, than we, being customers, should be able to state so. ok... THE END!!
  • Tikichrissaid 157 weeks ago

What the...? Fat Mouse has some great stuff but this is not one of them.

On a side note, has anyone else noticed the amount of dragons on all the shirts recently?
  • mista-jsaid 157 weeks ago

I like the color scheme and the overall design.
I dont like the blood and gore that is portrayed...
just not sure where i would wear it at.
i'd certainly go with a kung fu, ninja, or nunchuck guy

    i'll wait for something tamer
  • robinzeggblusaid 157 weeks ago

I love the coloring, and the line work is well done, It's just not my kind of design. keep up the good work tho :)
  • undertow976said 157 weeks ago

It would be nice as a poster, but I would cross the street if I saw anyone wearing this as a shirt. . . sorry.
  • SheRockssaid 157 weeks ago

    You're a great artist..but GROSS!;/
  • charlie325said 157 weeks ago

umm...ok? what in the world is the point of this piece? very disappointing...not interesting. not desireable. not even creative. just kinda...bleh...
  • saturninesaid 157 weeks ago

I can tell there is talent behind the artwork, but the concept is just...dumb. Why would a martial arts master chop his hand off? And I wasn't aware that a chain could chop cleanly through bone & flesh. And why does his hair continue down the sides of his bright yellow outfit? "The Ouch Touch," is that a pun for something that I'm missing? I don't get it.
  • pleasedressmesaid 157 weeks ago

Awesome artwork, just not sure I would buy it. Nice job though for sure.

saturnine, this isn't the 1st time i've seen a shirt on here with a message on it I dont understand. i'm not sure if these are "inside" jokes with the artist, or what.
  • bleousaid 157 weeks ago

it's SUPPOSED to be silly and funny.
  • Fat mousesaid 157 weeks ago

Thanks guys, As Bleou said above, the design supposed to be silly and funny,
Well maybe my humor is not as good as i thought :)
  • Nulasaid 157 weeks ago

    Wow. No.
  • TheBeardsaid 157 weeks ago

I love this shirt and I really love the Atlas design one too. If only I wasn't in the midst of an argument about the amount of purchase of internet clothing with some of my, we'll call them room mates...
  • CmonToshisaid 157 weeks ago

    uuuum...
  • bleousaid 157 weeks ago

No, I think it's safe to say that you sense of humor is indeed intact, Fat mouse. There's this movie called Sukiyaki Western Django I think you would enjoy. It came out in 07. It's Japanese actors speaking English...or something like it, doing a western with a bit of the Samuri flair. Plus, Quentin Tarantino's in it. That's never a bad thing. Anyway, I think you'd enjoy it.
  • Fat mousesaid 157 weeks ago

Thank you very much Bleou, i love Quentin Tarantino (in a non TobiasFunke way of course) i will def, see that movie
  • Olechkasaid 157 weeks ago

Lovely colors, looks great on a black tee.
  • cardinalgoldsteinsaid 157 weeks ago

Oy, this shirt definitely does not appeal to me.

  • Amagoisaid 157 weeks ago

I love the colors and the comic-like design, it reminds me of the old horror & gore comics I love. However, the way that the idea was portrayed is off and confusing ...if the idea has been portrayed a little differently I would totally be running to buy this, though.

    Great design still, Fat Mouse.
  • missmonstersaid 157 weeks ago

".. And I wasn't aware that a chain could chop cleanly through bone & flesh...."

LOL at someone taking it waaaay too seriously.

And to be totally hypocritical here, yes chain can chop through bone and flesh if it's fast enough. So maybe this dude is such a badass that he twirled his nuchucks so FAST that it was intense enough to chop his own hand off. IMAGINATION SAVES THE DAY.

I like the fact that it makes no sense. It's funny to me and could be a great conversation starter. I think I'll buy this just because it's so wacky...
  • Arellesaid 157 weeks ago

There should be some sort of rule that people who have no idea about a certain subject shouldn't be able to post anything except "i like it, awesome!" or "not for me, thanks anyway." For example, "why does his hair continue down the sides of his bright yellow outfit"? Classic "I have NO idea who that is or what's going on or why I'm even talking" comment. "Why would a martial arts master chop his hand off? And I wasn't aware that a chain could chop cleanly through bone & flesh"--classic "I've never seen a cheesy AWESOME Bruce Lee/old action movie in my life and I take life waaay to seriously."

I'm sorry, I don't mean for this to be so negative, and I don't mean to be harsh to you particularly saturnine, but rather everyone who has commented negatively about this shirt. It's obviously a joke that you get if you've seen Bruce Lee movies, and yes, it is funny, and no, it's not an inside joke but you do have to know the subject. And yes, Fat Mouse, you are hilarious, and I quite enjoyed the shirt today, and I absolutely love your style.
  • the_jcwsaid 157 weeks ago

i'm a big fan of your comment missmonster, I am also a fan of Fat mouse work.
This site is great, we get to enjoy so many drastically different styles available to our greedy little t-shirt loving hands.
  • Arellesaid 157 weeks ago

and twirling_around, sorry, but what was your point exactly? Because as for you not liking the tshirts lately, I think that could be more of a personal thing--I've liked a lot of the tshirts lately. Different people like different shirts. As for the thing about them removing negative comments... i think today proves that that's not true, and the fact that your comment has been there all day proves that's not true, and you really should have some sort of evidence or example before you make accusations like that. But you are entirely right--everyone SHOULD be able to voice their opinions, negative or positive. I just don't see how that has been stifled by the staff in any way.
  • stablercakesaid 157 weeks ago

Um, not for me this time. It's not that I don't get the joke or have a problem with the "gore" (...it's not even that bad wtf)

I like the concept and I absolutely love the colors, but it's simply not well drawn enough for me. I'm not saying you're not talented, it's obviously a stylistic choice, but I'm just not convinced.

I also think just the phrase "Ouch! Touch" is...a bit of a stretch. It would look a lot cooler without the words.

I'd buy that sea green design under the atlas guy, though. That's NEAT. Guernicesque.
  • dudley53said 157 weeks ago

I've seen some of your work on designbyhumans. This one is just a little too.........for me.
  • goodgraveysaid 157 weeks ago

Ahhh this is so awesome! I actually really love the retro movie feel, even from the thumbnail I was reminded of all those crazy king fu movies I've seen in the past (and recently too!) I like the texture you have the picture itself too, I bet it'd look great!
  • snarkygalsaid 157 weeks ago

And there should be a rule that people shouldn't jump on other people's comments. People have the right to say whatever they want here as you said Arelle. That was really uncool.

I'm not feeling today's shirt, but I would LOVE to have a tee with the Atlas artwork. That is awesome.
  • 22ofMEsaid 157 weeks ago

...who argues about other people's opinion?!
    THEY ARE OPINIONS!!!

    Here's mine:
PERSONALLY, this tee is not my style, but i do know some friends who might really enjoy it. Nice job though.
  • eludingsunsaid 157 weeks ago

I think 'twirling around' has said it best so far. When I saw today's shirt this morning, I was really disappointed. the shirt; not only do I think it poorly designed (unlike a lot of the artist's other work) but was down right offensive in some ways. I have overall have been really unsatisfied with almost all of the shirt since the end of December. I used to get to excited to sign on first thing at midnight to see the newest design. Lately, I find myself not having a single nice thing to say, much less want to purchase a shirt. I would really like to see TeeFury have some designs more like its old ones and less like something you could find at any old store in the mall. I feel like TeeFury has made some very poor choices as far as their more recent designs. I would love to see a change or else this might just become one of those sites that I check rarely, to once in a blue moon.

  • missmonstersaid 157 weeks ago

Hey I hate most of what Design By Humans puts out but i still submit art and check in every few days. Not every one is gonna like everything...and an entire site won't always have what you love. Make the shirts that you want to see printed and submit 'em! :)

I think it's perfectly fine to say what's on your mind but personally I wait until i see something i love to comment. But some people love to criticize * shrug*. Different strokes...

  • REDXsaid 157 weeks ago

    SWING!!!

This is only my second purchase on furytees, I only buy the cream of the crop and this one hit it out of the park. I check everyday and the last week I've been let down, today I was pleasantly surprised. I love Bruce Lee obviously who inspired this piece, and I love the colors and the whole 80's vintage vibe with it. A definite must have that I can wear to work and show off to the other designers at work. Thanks Fat Mouse.
  • Kimoppisaid 157 weeks ago

I think the design is interesting, but not my cup of coffee. Partly because I try to buy shirts that are work friendly.

But I DO get the joke here... the subtly is brilliant. Good jokes tend to confuse half the people you share them with.
