A word from wotto:

Gaunty first caught my eye when I joined emptees. A friendly chap who made me feel very welcome. When I saw this frog design I chuckled, when I wear this frog design I hope others will chuckle too.

Tell us a little about this design.

Well it´s not the style that I usually do but I have done a few in this style just for self development. Started off as just a frog and I added a pipe after thinking of the title. I teach English too, so sayings/idioms usually come into my designs.

Where in the world are you?

At the moment, in the Basque Country, Spain. I´ve been living here for 3 years with my girlfriend, but I´m a born traveller and I´m getting itchy feet. Maybe with all this designing, a trip to America is in order.

What is your favourite medium?

I like getting my hands dirty, so I love doing sculpture but haven´t done any in ages. Recently it´s just been computer work.

Which superhero power would you like the most and why?

Easy, Iceman´s trail of ice. I always ran around everywhere as a kid with my hand out in front of me pretending to do it. Bet I looked like a right goon.

Who is the best villain ever?
Jigsaw or Hanibal, cartoon villians never win.

What was the last song you listened to?
Stand by me covered by Pennywise although King´s version is great too.

Favourite quote/lyric?

"It is good to have an end to journey towards, but in the end it´s the journey that matters". I have this tattooed on my right calf.

Who has been the best client you have designed for?

Lori from http://cavataclothing.com/ because she was the first client to contact me and has supported me since the start. We should be bring out some new designs soon.

Who would you most like to collaborate with?

I´ve done a few with the likes of Corefolio, Killernapkins, heavyprints and hope to again with all. Not to kiss ass, but you’d be a fun collab Wotto or any designer with a "cute" cartoony style (J3C, Greg Abbot etc)

How many t-shirts do you own?

Way too many old ones, I need a fresh wardrobe but I´m a total hoarder.

Which website do you go to everyday?

Emptees, move on. Oh and www.eltubero.com search around the archives and try and find photos of me tearing up some waves.
