reminds me of the artwork from Tool's Aenima album

It's probably not the only time the two pupil thing has been done, definitely not implying any wrongdoing by the artist. I'm just saying that, because of my long-term familiarity with the album artwork, I'm unable to see this one in the way the artist intends.
I really like the art work on this shirt. I would like to have it on my wall, but as for a tee on a guy.. Im not real sure. Kinda metro.. Definitely a hot shirt for a girl! Please dont take it in a bad way though, the artwork is awesome though.
Wow, you're so talented...I especially love your sketches to the right of the sunhat and rainbow haired girls!
As for the shirt, this design is fabulous. Now I just have to decide whether to give into temptation and get it *is currently budgeting AND also has too many sand-colored shirts from this site, lol...but...do want D:*
sagebomb: thanks :) I've never been to Theo in Freemont, although I go to UW so it's kind of close. I didn't even know that they had a store! I've been getting the chocolate bars at Whole Foods and Pharmaca. I wish they had more curry flavors!
Yep, I should be up in about 5 hours :) I'm not sure about how they print, but since they picked the design, I figure they'll find some way to print it, perhaps in gradients? I'll find out when I get one from there.
A word from the curator: Few things are so fragile as dreams. Once they're exposed, harsh words or indifference can crush them. That's why they tend to grow in secret, quietly nursed from fragments into fantastic worlds. What I love about this illustration is the way these flights of imagination seem to have a life of their own, growing in defiance of their fragile nature. It has a casual strangeness that I respond to.
Tell us the background of this design. This is a combination of 2 drawings, one done in pencil and the other using an ink pen. I think the design is pretty self-explanatory. What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you? I am a self-taught artist. I've been drawing since I was little, but started looking into tee design about a year ago, when I started playing around with photoshop and bought a wacom pad. As you can see, a lot of my designs originated from traditional drawings. My other passion is medicine (yep, I like to use both sides of my brain). I will be graduating from UW School of Pharmacy this summer with a PharmD. I will continue to do art when I am a drug-pusher. What do you absolutely not want them to find out? Nice try :) Name a few of your favorite things. In no particular order: sushi, rib eye steak, creme brulee, my man, my mac, sunshine in Seattle, coconut curry chocolate, I can go on and on... What are your feelings on breakdancing? It looks funny unless the dancer is REALLY good. Do you prefer 3-D animation or illustrative animation? Illustrative animation. Gargoyles vs. lightning: who would win the battle? Lightning, I think. Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much. "Epic Battle" from Threadless. I think it is awesome because it has ninjas and pirates! Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium. I enjoy all 3 but in reality I spend the most time reading. Gaming: Mario Bros on my Nintendo DS Lite. What inspires your work? Everything and everyone around me. I get ideas from sources such as (non art-related) conversations with others, from reading medical literature, seeing other artists' work, and caffeine highs. Any shout outs? I want to thank the TeeFury folks for all the kind comments that my previous design here on TF got. http://www.teefury.com/archive/99/Hummingbird I hope you enjoy this one too :)

Makes me think of things I doodled on notebooks in high school.
You obviously can draw, your other work is so much nicer. It's not showing through in this piece.
