About the artist
A word from the curator:
Remember when that Nazi's face melted in Indiana Jones? That was awesome. And hey, so is this shirt! Bright colors, crazy creatures, and a neat twist on the skull shirt add up to one heck of a cool tee, in my opinion.
Tell us the background of this design.
The design is called Absinthe and discusses the old tales of the lovely green fairy.
Absinth was always a kind of inspiration for artists in the 19th/20th century and I tried to capture this idea (and possibly the consequences of consuming absinthe) in a modern way.
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
Uff. What do they want to know about me?! I'm just an average guy who likes to answer this "5 kittens vs. 1 walrus" question now.
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
Obviously my own Absinthe experiences hahaha
Name a few of your favorite things.
Family - Friends - Girlfriend / Vinyl/ RocknRoll/ Winklepickers/ Leatherjacktes/ tight Jeans/ Skateboards/ playing MarioKart doubleDash and winning the Starcup/ Barbecueing with hot meat and cold beer/ making bad puns/ creating weird plans in a bar and never realize them/ meeting new people/ swimming in a sticky summernight/ havin good times
What are your feelings on jukeboxes?
I love them. Putting the coin in, choose Del Shannon and dance under the moonlight!
Do you prefer the city or the country?
The city. I think big streets and high skycrappers supply the biggest Inpiration to me.
Five kittens vs. one walrus: who would win the battle?
The Beatles sang once "I'm The Walrus" and i guess four british men could easily "beat" (haha) five kittens.
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
I think i like my Velvet Underground-Banana-Shirt most. I love wearing bandshirts with big prints and the Velvet Underground one embodies everything i like: big Prints, Andy Warhol, Apes (Bananas) and good old RocknRoll music.
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
Watching Movies. I love it when great directors creating visual art on the tv-screen like Tim Burton or Stanley Kubrick does!
But i like picturebooks too :D
What inspires your work?
My whole enviroment. The people I meet, the places i travel and the life I live.
Any shout outs?
Hell Yeah. First I would like to thanks teefury for supporting me and my Stuff and greet my family/friends.
It would be great if I could complete this interview with a good advice but nothing comes to my mind.
