Yep, this was definitely on Shirt.Woot, but it was the Book titles re-interpreted, not Movie titles.

I like the shirt but I don't like that all it's conveying is a movie title. I wish it had a little more depth. The physical design is neat, though.

Those extra gears weren't in the original piece, were they? I wish they were as sketchily drawn as the main image.

JK, as I recall the original piece had a much less organic and more complicated backing piece. The gears are a bit clean compared to the rest of this, but they add a lot without getting in the way of the focal point

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but, I see the gears as modern and the orange as the old watchman, the timekeeper, sort of world-weary and yet content, having had a very full life. There's a place in the world for both the old and the new... anyway, that's what it says to me. I love that character. He has so much charm and wisdom.

It certainly was in a woot derby. It should come as no surprise that TF picked up the attractive design that didn't win while woot selected one of the worst fogs in a long time.

Sorry peeps, I can't see the story of the clockwerk orange here (maybe I just couldn't fathom the gears), but I seriously admire the artwork. It is a beauty. I mean look at those sad and handsome eyebrows.

Good choice of colour for a shirt too! Thank god you didn't chose navy blue or something like that. Thumbs up!

This is the 3rd or 4th shirt that I wish came in kids sizes. and yes I've seen the movie and yes I know that's kind of disturbing. I know that no one wants to be a copy cat but I was so happy when an other tee-shirt a day site add kid sizes. Kids shouldn't have to wear mildly cleaver message tees any more!!!!

Hey! Great shirt art Drakxxx. I liked/voted at woot but now I am happy to get it here. I like TeeFury's thicker shirt, for me it is more comfortable. I am still waiting for my mad chop shirt...so many great shirts. The curator system used here sure beats voting on super designs only to see not so great ones win.

Clockwork gears might be a bit of an old-fashioned technology, but they still ge tthe job done. Through precise interactions, they can accomplish all kinds of effects if utilised properly. But unlike more advanced programming, the clockwork can only perform the actions you've specified- there's no randomness and no chance for evolution. So for this little orange, he is king of all he surveys for now. But the world may be advancing without him...

Tell us the background of this design.
This design was originally created for a contest were the design had to depict a movie title.

I had recently watched the film "Return to Oz", and the idea came to me.

What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
That I take great pride in art, and am determined to make my make with it somehow.

What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
My love of Pokemon that goes beyond the mere video games.

Name a few of your favorite things.
Food, kitties, film, art, video games

What are your feelings on reality tv?
COPS is classic TV. Most of these reality shows nowadays? I'll have to pass.

Do you prefer rivers, lakes or oceans?
Of the three, I'd prefer the ocean.

Napoleon vs. Moby Dick: who would win the battle?
Moby Dick would be super victorious. He's the size of at least several thousand Napoleons. It's really no contest!

Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
Hmm, I'm not particular to any one shirt really. At the moment, I'd say It would be a wonderfully warm sweater I just received for Christmas.

Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
I'll go with watching movies. It's a three way tie between The Deer Hunter, Romero's Dawn of the Dead, and Argento's Suspiria.

What inspires your work?
I usually take inspiration from other art in all various mediums. If a certain element of something inspires me to the point of artistic creation, I'll filter it through my crazy imagination, and attempt to come up with my own unique vision to act upon.

Any shout outs?
I would like to give a shout out to Miss Leelaaa, and thank her for all her support, encouragement, and creativity.
