Thanks wotto, teefury, and everyone here! Yes this was initially a design I did for shirt.woot many months ago and have always liked it.

I appreciate your comment pepper, improving my work means a great deal to me. That it's noticeable to the outside world is incredibly refreshing. Kind of like how you see your kids every day, but when you meet up with people you haven't seen in awhile?

the katsup design was a recent entry on woot.
i believe the reason it didnt get printed was it was a very late entry, also wooters tend to ignore the good stuff lol.

The ketchup/catsup design did get an honorable mention from woot, so it'll be up for voting in their next do-over derby.

The seahorse is actually up for voting/comments at uneetee, but who knows for how long. It's almost past their 90 day hold

KHAAAAAAAN, I didn't realize you were lived in Madison! I live here too! So uhh... there's that. Great design! It reminds me of an Obey shirt I've got that's basically a moth with head that looks like a cross between Skeletor and Frank's bunny-suit in Donnie Darko.

And I don't see any reason you couldn't work with Si Scott. Try shooting him an e-mail with some of you work. I bet you'll at least get a response from him.

I love the design, but I'm not a fan of black shirts. I liked how you had it on woot in brown. The placement's ok, seems a little awkward to me. But that's just my opinion, it's still an awesome piece of artwork.

This design/shirt is absolutely amazing! I love it. I like how it's not a mirrored image really and the coloring with the highlights is not symmetrical (which i like). And how can you go wrong with a black shirt?! Though I think it would look pretty steallar as well on a charcoal grey shirt too. I'm big on two-tone.

I'm also really digging the ketchup packet and the bird on the side. Is the bird one continuous line to make the entire picture?! I've done that before.. but with pencil and paper. :)

So, I totally bought this shirt for myself.. second shirt in a little over a week that I've bought. My third shirt thus far from TeeFury. Keep rockin' em out and I'll be broke! haha. But I'll have a closet full of sweet ass tees.

BTW I have a small obsession with butterflies/moths. I actually have a Madagascar Sunset Moth tattooed on the top of my right wrist and a Monarch Butterfly on top of my left. *smiles*

I love this design. The placement, the clever detail and the striking colour scheme all make this a winner. Artulo is a gentleman and I like what he does. Considering he states below he is new to design I think this is a brilliant piece of work. Look out! Moth Attack master Artulo is in the house.

Tell us a little about this design.
I've always had a fascination with insects and this one combines microscopic elements into a macroscopic piece - the Death's-head Hawkmoth, acherontia lachesis.

Where in the world are you?
Madison, WI, USA

What is your favourite medium?
Digital formats (illustrator, specifically) because it seems more "forgiving" to me than pencil/pen and I make way too many mistakes to use the latter. The smoothing tool is my great friend, that way nobody knows i've had six cups of coffee before 8am.

Which superhero power would you like the most and why?
Nigh-invulnerability! Who wouldn't want to be able to survive being thrown off a 30-story building and smashing into the concrete below? Super strength and drama powers are not far behind.

Who is the best villain ever?
There are so many awesome villains, but I really like Agent Smith from the Matrix movies.

What was the last song you listened to?
Ball Tongue - Korn

Favourite quote/lyric?
Gimme some sugar, Baby. - Ash

Who has been the best client you have designed for?
Since I'm relatively new at design, I haven't really had outside clients ask me to make something for them. But, my daughter wanted a ballet themed shirt, so I made her one (pic). She's definitely my best client. Yes, it's an inkjet iron on transfer but has held up pretty well through many washings.

Who would you most like to collaborate with?
There are so many fantastic artists whose work I admire, but my most absolute favorite, and who I'd leap at the chance to work with would be Si Scott. (hey, I can dream, right?)

How many t-shirts do you own?
Quite a few - probably 40 or so. But this is really only hindered by what I'd actually wear.

Which website do you go to everyday?
I have a daily ritual of shirt websites that I visit, including Design by Humans, Emptees, Shirt.woot, and of course TeeFury. But, I'm also a daily reader of Engadget, The Register, and other tech sites.
