A word from wotto: Sweeney contacted me a while a go asking me if she could contribute. As a new designer just starting out I was happy to give her a spot. (I remember many people slamming a door in my face when I first got started). I like the understated feel of this tee and it has a message I think we can all relate to. Be nice folks. Welcome Sweeney.

Tell us a little about this design.

This design is about waiting by the phone for a call. Waiting and waiting and then finally you get the call. Whether it's a job interview result or a new man/woman. We have all felt that nervous waiting feeling and the release when the call finally comes. I hope my image portrays this. I am pretty new to design and I wanted to use the T-shirt placement in a non conventional way.

Where in the world are you/age?
I live in California, USA. I am 18.

What is your favourite medium?

Photoshop and Illustrator, although I am still learning.

Which superhero power would you like the most and why?
The power to fly, would save me a lot of travelling time.

Who is the best villain ever?
Dexter.

What was the last song you listened to?
'she's like the wind' from Dirty Dancing, it was playing in the restaurant I just went to.

Favourite animal?
Giraffe

If you were a curator here which artist would you ask to contribute a design?
I would have to say wotto because he gave me the opportunity to do this. Oh and I like Fatheed's stuff over at Threadless.

What do you find most annoying about the Internet?
Stalkers.

Who is the best T-shirt designer in the world right now?
Johnny Cupcakes's artists are pretty amazing.
