A word from wotto: When I first joined Threadless many moons ago Leon was one of the designers that stood out as influencial. He creates beautiful work and is not affraid to take risks and experiement with the audience. This design is one of my personal favourites and anyone in a band should own one. I am not in a band but because I have always wanted to be I will own one.

Tell us a little about this design.
I thought it would be fun to suggest the guitars mindlessly destroyed at concerts are living, breathing things that deserve a memorial. They get tortured for a few hours and then brutally smashed and everyone shouts as if the murderous rockstar is a hero. Shame on you all.

Canberra, Australia

What is your favourite medium?
Vector without a doubt. I used to use pencil or pen or gouache but was constantly frustrated by the lack of precision and the mess of materials all over my desk.

Which superhero power would you like the most and why?
Flight. I'm isolated down here and there's people I want to visit.

Who is the best villain ever?
Hannibal Lecter. You can't help but admire his intelligence and sophistication. He may eat people but he prepares them beautifully.

What was the last song you listened to?

If you were a curator here which artist would you ask for a design from first?
Among the registered artists here? I really love Miss Monsters style. If you mean worldwide though I'd say Ragnar, or McBess.

What do you find most annoying about the Internet?
It's so full of garbage that you can't find the good stuff. And it's slow. And it's time consuming. And it tantalises me with things I can't afford.

Who is the best T-shirt designer in the world right now?
Someone to be envied.

Which website do you go to everyday?
Flickr.com. I spend all day refreshing my Contacts page and stealing friends ideas.
