Why say first? Why? Anyways, this is a really sweet design, love the vintage look. No money for me still, darn it. Been missing out on some good shirts here lately. Keep em coming!
So tempted, but like bahbahbah (never expected that that would come into a sentece)I think a nice navy for the blank who have been great.
Still, lovely work.
I think the look of it, how its faded at the top, really works well with the limits of printing. Instead of a defined cutoff point its pretty well faded and blended.
I'm torn on this one :/ I actually like the brown. I agree that the design ends at the top a bit abruptly. Uuuuunnggghhh...can't decide...oh well, I suppose I've got all day :)
Even more annoying than people with "first" comments, are people who allow it to bother them ;)
Not feeling much love for this design. Aesthetically it feels off from the color of the shirt to the placement and composition. I'm cool with patterns and trendy looking shapes with a little vintage grunginess going on, but it just feels like there is nothing purposeful about this design.
A lot of the shirts lately have left me with this "meow" feeling lately. I went from buying 3 shirts a week to nothing in the past 2 or 3 weeks now. =(
I love the design, and the color scheme. Not sure how I feel about the "vintage" aspect, though. I know it's probably just me, but the vintage look hasn't ever done anything for me. I'll probably buy this shirt anyway, that design is too sleek.
It's definitely growing on me the more I look at it, but it doesn't instantly make me hit buy - I think it's the brown, the colours look good together on the design, but actually on me as a t-shirt, I'd have to agree with everyone who suggested navy as an alternative. Still, great vintage design, although if it was a little more distressed I'd really go for it.
I think people are being too critical of this. I would sooner wear brown than blue, in the case of this design. I agree that the cutoff is a bit awkward, but other than that I like it, and so do the other people I've talked to.
I think the color combination is good. I mean, have you gone outside in the spring or summer. You'll find brown and green. It's a good color match. However, I'm not a huge fan of the positioning of the design. Maybe if it was on the side or more in a corner. Just something to make it more interesting.
The design is awesome as is the color choice. A lot of me wants to buy it, but the fact that it only takes up the upper half of the shirt deters me. If the design covered more of the shirt, I'd be all over it.
Even more annoying than the people who get bothered by "first" posts, are people who feel the need to post that they are even more annoying than the first posts.
*Realizes the paradoxical daisy chain this will create.*
The white lines around the curves make it look shiny, which seems to be in direct conflict with the vintage feel.
I also agree with others that the color combo is not quite working either.
Hope I am not being too harsh but I assume other artists want constructive criticism.
These critiques are merely my opinion, so please consider them as such only.
Congrats on your win.
