Wandering Bert has a style all of his own. He has had success in the T-shirt world on many occasions. One of his designs at woot! (that technicolor one) still remains one of my favourites. On first inspection this shirt may seem too childish. Take another look people this centipede is one sinister mother. I love the subtle darkess in this piece, its something I strive for in my own work. Wandering Bert, welcome to the jungle....

Where do you find inspiration?
This is a hard one- anywhere, everywhere, nowhere. Idea wise, I think you can train your mind to be inspired by anything, which is what I’ve tried to do. The key, I think is just to look at and experience lots of different stuff. Style wise I do similar- I look at all sorts of art and draw inspiration from a variety of styles to work for whatever I’m doing at the time.

How long have you been an artist? What kind of artists are you?
I’ve always been making art. I can’t remember a time before I was making art.
I guess I’d definitely be termed a ‘Digital Artist’ but I try to use traditional mediums to help create my final pieces. I can use pencil and pen well, but I’ve never been much for painting or anything like that. Instead, I like to compose things like scanned charcoal smudges or paint splatters and work with them on the computer. I also use take a lot of photos which I use for textures in my work.

Xbox – mostly because it’s the only one I’ve ever owned.

God, Family, My Girlfriend, Spaghetti Bolognese, Samurai Jack.

Bordom. I have a fear of it.

Most annoying celebrity and why?
Paris Hilton. She’s famous because of her daddy, she’s used her fame to show how stupid she can be, and she’s only got 1 pose.
Favorite band and why?
I don’t really have a fav, I change far too often. Lately, I’ve been listening to some old Blindside, and a band called Secret And Whisper. I like me anything rock.
