It's a Game of Thrones t-shirt. The Stag is the symbol of House Baratheon, with the decorations being the symbols of other great houses.

I love the idea of hanging elements off really cool silhouettes and what better subject to use. Where are you from?

Seattle, WA

Which art style would you most like to learn?

I am a huge fan of the artistic approaches someone like James Jean (if you don't know his work you should as he is amazing) and a few other similar artists take with their styles that use both traditional mediums and digital together to make a really powerful image in design, color, and texture.

If you had a time machine, which era would you visit first?

I think I would want to visit the United States during the golden era of illustration, which for me is 1840-1970. I know this period has some of the lowest financial moments our country has seen financially, but for illustrators it was a time of growth and brilliant ground-breaking styles.

What goal do you most aspire towards?

To make art that makes people smile, laugh, and simply wear on their body or hang on their walls. If it inspires someone to be creative themselves, then thats a bonus!

If you could stop any t-shirt trend in its tracks, which would you end? What trend would you like to see started?

I'd like to see an end to the "douche" shirts. You know the types I'm talking about. I'd love to continue to see more pop culture designs done in creative new styles.

Would you rather be a detective or a criminal?

Detective, so I'd get to use all those super sweet gadgets.

Robot vs. scientist: which would win the battle?

Robots of course! 001100010010011110100001101101110011......

Describe the first shirt you ever designed.

It was a series of designy teeny bopper tees I did for a former employer. Very sugar and spice and everything nice.....

What has been your most inspiring art experience?

My most inspiring art experience was being able work with and learn from my mentor, the great Thomas B. Allen, before he passed away. He was not only a major influence to me but to the illustration world.
