Tell us about this design.
In the house of Ryleh, dead Cthulhu waits....to EXTERMINATE! This is a mashup between the Cthulhu mythos and a certain alien race with a fondness for extermination. They both incidentally are harbingers of our doom!
Where are you from?
I was cast and molded in a town outside Detroit, Michigan. I was raised in Shelbyville, Tennessee and now I currently reside in Arkansas.
How would you describe your style?
I think my style can be described as "Detail Oriented OCD." I really like detailing an image out and to push my art in that way. I even go as far as detailing the most tiniest of elements. I have a tendency to go overboard sometimes.
If you could collaborate with anyone else, who would you pick?
There are so many talented artist out there that it's really hard to just pick one. Ideally I would to take all of my favorite artists and do one big project.
What historical figure do you most admire?
I have a lot of respect for Leonardo de Vinci. He not only was one of the most prolific artists in history, he was also an inventor, a scientist, sculptor...etc, etc. The list goes on and on. He is my historical hero figure.
If you weren't designing shirts, what would you be doing?
I would probably have went back to my old job. It was less than desirable. That truly is the darkest time, although I probably wouldn't have a black goatee.
Would you rather fight a robot or a sea monster?
I would have to take the sea monster out with a Medusa head or something. In the end they are just giant scary ticked off squid monsters (usually) while robots are generally cold calculating, highly intelligent killing machines.
Horror vs. sci-fi: which would win the battle?
Sci-Fi wins every time because no matter how ominous horror can be, it can't do much against a full armed and operation Deathstar.
What is your favorite t-shirt color?
Black. It goes with everything and is great for creating dark shadows when I draw.
What has been your favorite vacation or travel experience?
Once upon a time I was in the military and I went to Japan for a month. I didn't get to go to Tokyo like I had hoped but it was really fun regardless.
Any shout outs?
I would just like to thank everybody who follows what I do. You guys are awesome!
