What if I don't like any of the 3 color choices, it'd be nice if you really could choose any color you wanted, instead of just 3 colors. I probably would have bought this shirt if it was in a color I liked.

Nice design. I really like the DK side art. Also like the He-Man and Skeletor, but not the background.
I've got a lot of teefury shirts, but have yet to buy one featuring MOTU, my childhood favourite.

At least you're getting three choices now. It was not so very long ago that you had no choice at all.

Great shirt design, very fun. Anyways; POWER RANGERS POWER RANGERS POWER RANGERS!!!! That was my favorite episode as a child and I would buy it in a heartbeat!

My first Teefury purchase! I look every day and now I am an actual customer! What a fun design. Hoped to buy it in blue, but no 2xl...glad I had the silver option because white would have been a no-go. Thanks for the color choices! I'd love to purchase the gb side art for my son. Hope it becomes a shirt, too.

Tell us a bit about this design.

I did not come across this popular children's book until I was an adult, and when the movie version came out in 2009. With the hype for the movie building up, I fell in love with the world and characters. And so, in my tribute illustration I wanted show my appreciation for the book and the movie. I love the movie! Also, I listened to Arcade Fire's "Wake Up" as I worked on it (since it was the song used for the movie trailer).

Where are you from?

I was born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador. I studied the Illustration & Film in Philadelphia, and am currently dwelling in Burbank, California.

What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?

That my work is inspired by classic american & japanese cartoons. Almost if you fused Popeye and Astro-Boy together!

What do you absolutely not want them to find out?

That I'm a huge Ghostbusters nerd and have spent much time and effort in my Ghostbusters collection....getting things like STARLOG issue #87 (1984), which features Ghostbusters in it :P

Name a few of your favorite things.

Ah man...SO MUCH STUFF! Let's see...My family & friends, traveling around the world, space exploration, the planet MARS, the terraformation of Mars, punk & folk music, meeting new people and artists, coming up with new designs & Illustrations, setting up art show & events, and creating original ideas for animation & film.

I LOVE Ghostbusters, Hellboy, Popeye, TMNT, H.P. Lovecraft, Movies by Guillermo Del Toro, Folkloric Monsters, Dinosaurs, Astro-Boy (anything by Osamu Tezuka), The Fleischer Bros, Ub Iwerks, AKIRA (the film), Dragonball Z, Saint Seiya, Captain Tsubasa, Bravestarr, He-man, Super Marios Bros, Zelda. All your 80s nostalgia basics with hints of 1930s & 1950s culture.

What kind of art did you make as a kid?

I always drew my friends and I going on adventures or playing out scenes from our favorite movies.

I remember drawing a lot of Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters, and monsters

I once made my own "Jurassic Park" Bible, which contained my "9-year-old version" of how to make Dino DNA and make your own dinosaur. I also had each dinosaur catalogued in alphabetical order.

Besides that I drew a lot of family portraits during the holidays and my favorite characters from my favorite cartoons.

As a teenager I began drawing comics and coming up with my own stories and characters.

What is your favorite thing about monsters?

They can be anything and up to one's imagination. Monsters are a universal thing in the human psyche. From the beginning of time we've come up with monsters to embody our worst fears with claws, sharp teeth, and glowing eyes. Monsters are different in everyone's point of view. I think misunderstood / human-like / big-hearted monsters like Moishe (Carol) or Hellboy are the best kind.

The forest vs. the beach: which would win the battle?

If you would of asked me as a child, I would of said the beach, since I lived four years of my life in one. I'll always have a soft spot for the beach.

Later growing up as a city kid I've always had a fascination and wonder for the forest and the mountains. I think it will be time to venture into it in years to come. I'm excited!

Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.

That would be my own Ghostbusters inspired design I did last year. It was one of my first designs to get printed on a shirt.

Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.

They're all fantastic, but there's nothing better for me than to sit back and watch a movie. Obviously my favorite movie is Ghostbusters, but since I've been on a Miyazaki kick recently, I'd have to say it is Nausicaä (of the valley of the wind).

What inspires your work?

My surroundings, my loved ones, books / movies / video games that make me think or wonder, science, outer space, the future of mankind, interstellar travel, history, good food, coffee, old cartoons. Everything that makes me happy is filtered through my brain and then put down on paper through my left hand. :)

Any shout outs?

I want to say thank-you to all the people and loved ones that support me and inspire me. But most importantly I'd like make a shout-out to two of the most important women in my life, my mom, Peggy, and my girlfriend, Pamela. Thank-you for all your patience, support, and unconditional love. :)
