One of the worst things about teefury, is that I see awesome designs like this, and would buy it, but I'm not in the fandom.
And I don't want to false-advertise that I'm in a fandom. Especially if someone asked me about it.

The character means "wolf", which is pronounced "ookami". The title actually uses different characters, but they're pronounced the same, and the pun is intentional.

Why limit yourself if you appreciate the design? So what if some people assume you are a fan? Your friends and family will know, once you tell them, and they are the only ones who matter. I have the game but have hardly played it (probably got stuck at some point).

I've never played Okami and I ordered the shirt simply because I like the design. I agree with your point of view when it comes to shirts with specific movie or television quotes/references, but this shirt's design is general enough that I wouldn't worry about somebody mentioning it, and if they do, I'd just say I bought it because I liked the design. :)

Its totally from Okami, its a video game for the Wii and PS2, they also made a sequal Okamiden for the Nintendo DS. Its an awesome game, and pretty much the only game I play on the Wii! ^-^ check it out sometime!

Also cudos to the artist I Love it, totally going to buy it if I can convince the parents to lend me the money! ^-^
