Adventure Time doesn't deserve to be mashed with Final Fantasy or anything really. My apologies to the artist on that one but I am really strong on the topic of mashing things up. I hope you do well as I like your style on your other work but I am just anti-adventure time. Sorry nothing personal I promise!!!!

Glad I'm not the only person who doesn't like that waste of airtime. Adventure Time is awful...

I think it's a great design and I'm probably gonna buy. What's with all the hate for the mash ups? If it were a straight up FF or AT tee, then it would be booooooring and not worth the money (a limited addition shirt should be unique)!!! Personally, I'm glad to see a non-Doctor Who tee (there have been a ton of those).

This shirt makes me wish that I liked Final Fantasy (Or whichever specific FF game most inspired this shirt. I have no idea which one). Since I don't, I'm going to be really picky about what's going on in this shirt.

First off, the city (?) in the background doesn't appear to have been Adventure Time-d in the slightest. Is it just a FF city? Either that's lazy and doesn't fit with the theme, or I'm missing something. I am hardcore into AT, so I doubt I'm missing that there's actually an AT connection there.

Then, the choice of AT characters... no doubt they are really good matches for the FF characters (Benefit of the doubt, anyway), but I don't like Cake the cat being there. Right next to Jake the dog! They do not co-exist in the cartoon, as they are (Essentially. Certain point of view and all that) the same character. There is nothing that makes sense about Cake being there, right on down to how her tail goes BEHIND Jake's ear even though she's very small and standing closer to the front than he is. I assume she's very small because her FF character is very small, because otherwise she is simply incorrectly-sized.

Marceline barely even seems to be dressed as a non-Marceline character, which is a bit odd (But probably fine? Just a FF character that isn't dressed or equipped distinctively, although that seems lame, too).

Phew! Okay, I've talked myself out of buying this.

Look, the artist is super talented. That owl design is so amazingly dope! But they don't seem to fully grasp how to do a convincing mash-up of two separate properties. The Gangam Style / Adventure Time design has the same problem -- put the boys in a Candy Kingdom stable, replaces the horses with the Kate Beaton-inspired fat pony, and boom! That would be solid.

I guess I'm behind on my Adventure Time because I don't remember a cat character other than Me-Mow. But whatever, it just so happens that I'm one of the few that loved Cait Sith, so I'm happy anyway. Sold.Thanks for the awesome design.
