About the artist
Where are you from?
I'm from Algeciras, Spain
How did you get started designing t-shirts?
Probably like most of the designers, a friend of mine commented me about an small t-shirt contest in Spain and I loved it. I wasn't used to have so many people seing my work, so I saw t-shirt design as an amazing opportunity to share my designs.
What advice would you offer to aspiring designers?
I still consider myself an aspiring designer. It's necessary to keep in mind that there are always so many things to learn that if you think that you know everything, that you can't improve, you're lost. So I always try to learn from everyone, to do different styles, ultimately, to keep improving.
What would be your dream job?
I'm actually really close to my dream job at the moment, I've always wanted to do something creative as a living, I love to design t-shirts, so the only extra thing I'd like is that it last all the possible.
What is your favorite thing about turtles?
I don't think I specially like turtles, except when they are mutant and great at martial arts.
What would your ideal house be like?
One with a big swimming pool. If I have that, the rest doesn't matter.
Pizza vs. nachos: which would win the battle?
My name is Nacho, do I need to say more? Well, In fact I prefer pizza.
What was your favorite as a kid: comics, cartoons, or movies? Was there a specific title you liked most of all?
There are many, but If I have to mention one, It's Dragon Ball. I Think that i've filled hundreds of notebooks over the years exclusively with Dragon Ball drawings. Too bad it isn't popular for t-shirts!
What are a few of your favorite websites?
I like to explore tags at tumblr better than to visit design sites. I use to spend hours without noticing while discovering some great artworks there. It would be a perfect site if all the bloggers gave more credit to the artists.
Any shout outs?
It's great to be at teefury again!
