Chronicling the imaginary adventures of a wise-cracking Tiger and his favorite stuffed human doll.
Where are you from?
I'm from the streets! Actually, I live in central MA, in a small town called Holden.
How did you get started designing t-shirts?
I started designing tee shirts after leaving my day job as a graphic designer to become a stay-at-home dad. In between changing diapers and being spit-up on, I finally had some extra time to start making my own art again. Already being well immersed in nerdy pop culture, tee shirts seemed like the perfect way to showcase and sell my strange brand of art.
What advice would you offer to aspiring designers?
Grow a very thick skin and be prepared for lots of rejection. Learn to take criticism from others but always be your own hardest critic. Carefully observe what other artists do and how they do it, but don't copy them or compare yourself to them. Do your own thing, but never assume it's the right thing. Have the strength to keep at it, but know when to take a break. Don't make Gangnam Style designs.
What would be your dream job?
To be honest, designing tees has become my dream job. Since leaving behind a career as a musician 10 years ago (I play drums), designing tee shirts is the first thing that's really felt right to me.
What is your favorite thing about cartoons?
The style and quality of the animation has always been a big factor in holding my attention. Although nowadays, since my daughter has started watching TV, I'll watch just about any cartoons with her.
What would your ideal house be like?
A house big enough to display my enormous collection of action figures, statues and prop replicas. Or the Ghostbusters firehouse.
Lion vs. tiger: which would win the battle?
I think I'll defer to Napoleon Dynamite on this one: The Liger. Nothing beats that.
What was your favorite as a kid: comics, cartoons, or movies? Was there a specific title you liked most of all?
I was really into comics as a kid - both comic books and comic strips. As far as comic books went, I was obsessed with Todd McFarlane's artwork and I bought anything that had his name on it. As far as my favorite comic strips went, today's design should be a pretty good clue.
What are a few of your favorite websites?
A few sites I tend to frequent every day are Facebook, Tumblr, Shirtoid and From Bricks to Bothans.

Everyone in the RxBA and the RBC for all their knowledge, support and humor.

I agree. This site isn't really "on the ball" with timely releases of movies or events like holidays.
