wow this is such an "awwwww" shirt that makes me first remember all the art i did following ed emberley's thumbprint art books and second the great episode with way too many tribbles! this is truly a design that makes me remember exact moments in my childhood! great choice teefury!

Tell us a bit about your design.

I grew up with "Raumschiff Enterprise" - that's how they called it in Austria - and I can vividly remember this episode. I was around 10 years old (I'm just guessing here), and I found out that Sci-Fi can be funny (back then I didn't recognize the campiness of the show yet). Up till today, I want to adopt a Tribble! No matter the consequences!

Where are you from?

From a little mountain town called Graz, in Austria. Well, it's mostly hills, but the mountains aren't far. Graz is the hometown of THE Terminator and has a fantastic little hill in the middle from which you can see the whole city. T30 minutes from the town, you can find a chocolate factory in which you can eat as much chocolate as you want (I'm not kidding here).

Do you think your location has influenced your art? If so, how?

I can definitely see an influence regarding my love for the fantasy genre - there is practically an old castle around every corner here! Sourounded by romantic forests, snowy mountains and vast valleys with crystal clear lakes. I live in a city, but all of this is literally around the corner. This really encourages me to love fantasy even more. And play plenty of RPGs.

What kind of work do you design outside of t-shirts?

I work on webcomics for nerdy websites, occasionally game illustration and sometimes Igive lectures. I am also working on an epic graphic novel (in collaboration with two friends) – a horror-comedy set in an oriental fantasy world with plenty of filthy jokes, demons, magic and shit! What is your favorite thing to draw?

Godzillas, disgustingly cute and repulsing monsters, cats, crazy figures running around with wavy arms screaming, ninjas, angry bunnies, wizards and a combination of all of these (Especially various forms and variations of ninjas).

If you had a mascot, what would it be?

A Ninja Tribble!

Which is your favorite sport? Do you like to play or just watch?

My bad artist back forces me to be part of the sport world. My favorite thing to do is getting a good audio book and doing strength and cardio training in the gym. Being back in Austria now, I also like to go hiking with friends. I am also world master in popping bubble wrap paper - but after the great bubble wrap paper incident in 2008, I had to retire.

If you could invent anything, what would you choose to create?

First, I would adopt a thousand tribbles. Then, I would take that machine from "The Fly" And melt them together with a bunch of ninja squirrels. Having a gigantic ninja-squirrel-tribble-monster, I would wander trough the world and free the world from internet trolls. Because they really annoy the heck out of me.
