About the artist
Tell us the background of this design. I've lived in highly music driven cities like Chicago, Memphis, and Nashville. The history, the people, and the time when music was at its peek inspires me to draw the performers as the were, are and perhaps will be. I'd like people to connect with my art.
Age/Sex/Location-How long have you been an artist? What kind of artists are you?
26/M/Nashville - Looking back on my life so far I'd say I've always had a creative edge and have always been an artist. Specificly, I'd say I'm an illustrator.
Where do you find inspiration? Illustrators past to present, like JC Leyendecker, Al Hirschfield, Anita Kuntz, etc., have always inspired me to start drawing and keep drawing.
Paper or plastic? I prefer to draw on paper.
XBOX, Playstation or Wii? None of the above.
What do you love more than anything in the world? Eating until I'm completely and comfortably full.
What do you hate more than anything in the world? I hate litterers. I hate them.
Most overused word in the English Language? uh.
Most annoying celebrity and why? There are so so many, but the one that sticks out is Cameron Diaz. Her "acting" bothers me.
Favorite band and why? I have many favorite bands from indie, pop, techno, folk, country, hiphop, to electronic. I need music with variety or a good bass line.
What do you do when you're not creating art? I'd rather not think about the boring part of my life.
