Ok that's really freaking creepy... check out my name, and my site: www.stormink.net . Might as well have been a logo for me haha. It looks good but I'm not so sure about the fade.
i agree with bossboss. the other work on the artists' site are usually way more intriguing. ive purchased some teefury shirts as well, but a lot of the time i find it hard to believe that some of this stuff sells. but then again, maybe im a tough critic, being a designer as well.
In reply to what was said earlier about this site seeming like a dumping ground.
I've noticed this as well. Especially a few days ago w/ the PaleHorse robot design. Yea I liked it, but the work on his site was Way more amazing.
Then again, it's kind of benificial on both ends. The artist gets to make some money of a design that would otherwise just collectt dust in a folder somewhere, and we get a peice for an artist we like for an extremely cheap price.
Lastly, I visit every day. Alot of times I'll come here and not like the design for the day, but who cares? Coming here takes 2 seconds out of my day. It's not a big deal!! :)
Rawkfist - your comment isn't even worth posting. That was way rude! Although the 'first" thing is kind of annoying it doesn't warrant calling people "faggots" that's something my immature little brother would say. Really un-cool. I hope you learn to grow up and get over your hatred. That word is as bad as "n*gger" in my book and totally unacceptable in public. Take your hate speech somewhere else please. NON of us appriciate that kind of language.
David - nice design. I love the designs on the side too!
Hi folks,
I have tried to explain this before, obviously not very well. When we ask artists to put images forward for the side area it is to showcase them. We want to promote all our artists. The artists very often pick their strongest pieces which show their skills to the full. Many of the pieces featured are private commissions or tees they have done for clients. I agree that sometimes I wish I could have them on my body too but that's not what they are there for.
Maybe we should rethink this element but I personally like to see the artists show off. I hope this helps and if it doesn't then I really ought to have used the time to make a cup of tea. Have a good weekend all and nice design today!
A nice take on the lightening theme! Congrats
As for artist showcase, I really dig it, it's a preview to the portfolio which I enjoy looking at. I think it is implied that not every design an artist does just because they are getting printed on a t-shirt would be t-shirt designs and available at that.
1. I've decided I can rock white shirts (it is cream/sand and baby blue that ruin me (although AA baby blue is worse then Alstyle...they are a slightly different color and AA makes me look greener then Alstyle). But I have to be careful with white because
Wonderbunny = bicycle commuter in all kinds of weather + white shirt = many bad, bad thing can happen to that white shirt.
2. Shirt really isn't my style but the art on the side is awesome and I'd love to see something else by the artist with more color in it.
3. Thanks for clearing things up Wotto. I'd offer you my tea but it is "Breath Easy" tea because I've been sick (aka. dirt tea).
ForceEight: White is a bad thing for some people regardless of being pale. White is a color tshirt that I will pretty much NEVER buy because I'm a clumsy 6am coffee drinker... and a clumsy 8pm spaghetti eater... and a "dont care what I'm wearing when I feel the sudden urge to paint" painter...
And although I'm not a bicycle commuter regularly... I do ride my bike a lot, and white shirts aren't good if I"m hoppin on my bike to go to the store and it's raining.
All of that aside, even if this shirt were on a different color, I probably wouldn't get it because a) I'm way over my shirt quota. b) I'm not that into it.
I dig the splatter effect on the bolt, but the blue circuit just seems completely random to me. I'll agree with the gathering sentiment that I would've loved to have seen this one on a yellow shirt.
Two worlds collide. The pure energy of lightning slams into a field of ink, that instrument of creativity. It's a bold design that takes one of my favorite t-shirt elements, the lightning bolt, and makes it feel absolutely fresh and new.
Tell us the background of this design. When creating this design my goal was to create something that was simultaneously intricate and simple.
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you? That they can see more of my work at www.artistrx.com
What do you absolutely not want them to find out? Hmmmm... is this a trick question?
What are your feelings on Thor? Seems like a cool dude. I'm more a venom guy myself.
Name a few of your favorite things. Reese's cups, Barbecues, The ocean, Gelato, Breakdancing, and being around good company.
Who is your favorite Beatle? I don't know much about them, so I really don't have a favorite.
If you must challenge a warrior to a one-on-one battle, which archetype would you choose to fight: pirate, ninja, or spartan? Pirate most definitly. Climbing and swinging from ship to ship would make for an exciting battle.
What is your favorite word, and why? Shenanigans. Its just fun to incorpirate into sentences every now and them.
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium. Watching movies. Currently I'm really digging the Cowboy Bebop movie.
What inspires your work? Movies, Music, Religion, Pop culture, Folklore, and Mythology
Any shout outs? My family, specificaly my sister. She has always encouraged my craft and inspires me to be the best at what I do.

Or that maybe some of these people aren't used to tshirts and color restrictions? I don't know.
Before you get on my case, I have 3 Teefury shirts. I would buy more if I didn't feel like I was getting leftovers.
