Can someone explain to me the second and third part of the Back to the Future shirt? I am a HUGE fan of the movies, they are my favorite movies of all time, but I don't get the last two clock references. Were they significant times? I know in the first one the clock struck at 10:04pm (I think) but I don't get the other two clocks.

I like Dr. Horrible, but the BTTF design is so well thought out and simple at the same time... I love it.

If you look at the De Lorean the first one is on wheels, going back to the past, the Second frame is hovering, going back the the future, and the third is on rails going back to the wild west.

The clock was in all three movies, though most prominently in the first and second. The second part is the delorean itself, normal/street mode in the first panel, with the hover conversion in the second, and one the train tracks in the third one. If you need more explanation as to why those are significant, just say so.

Yeah I think I can answer your question, Kristin. The lightning strikes at 10:04 as you said. the second one represents the time stuck at 10:04 in the future. and the 3rd represents the clock still works in the past (1885)

That said, the middle clock looks like it's on 10:06, instead of 10:04. The minute hand is the wrong side of the I/5.

Definitely count me in for a Dr. Horrible's shirt, but dang--I wish SOMEBODY sold long-sleeved tees; it's a little cold for short sleeves this time of year. Think on it, Teefury--there is a market. You could make money.
