Originally it was for a contest at another site. The topic was “College shirt” and I kind of immediately thought about Dr. Horrible.
Where are you from?
Really tiny town where everybody knows everybody. Last time I was there I had to stop the car to let a lone piglet cross the street.
Which art style would you most like to learn?
I like Megan Lara’s Nouveau designs, would like to be able to do that.
If you had a time machine, which era would you visit first?
First I would go 50 years to the future to see if humans discovered a way to live forever. Then I would like to see the end of the world.
What goal do you most aspire towards?
The world is a mess and I just need to rule it. I want to be better at drawing, too.
If you could stop any t-shirt trend in its tracks, which would you end? What trend would you like to see started?
I am sometimes surprised by some trends but I wouldn't stop any. Like those cereal boxes designs, I wouldn't have thought about it but a lot of them are really cool!
Would you rather have a secret lair high in the mountains or deep underwater?
Mountains! Preferably a stone fortress, almost inaccessible high in the mountains with secret tunnels and caves beneath it.
Good vs. evil: which would win the battle?
Evil. How can you go against a Freeze Ray? Besides ‘good men have too many rules’.
Describe the first shirt you ever designed.
I was to design a shirt for a programming contest. I had 5 ideas and I drew them all, it took me at least an hour for each design. And then, when I was just about to send them in I had one more idea which I sketched in 5 minutes. It was the one they selected, obviously, and they wanted it loose so I didn't even have to do anything besides that initial sketch.
What has been your most inspiring art experience?
Do you even have to ask? :D Selling my first shirt on TeeFury was amazing, seeing how popular it was, all the comments, even crits, people mailing me about my art, other artists support - awesome!
