About the design:
I'd been designing some shirts inspired by pop culture and fine art, and Dali and The Doctor seemed to go nicely together. The Van Gogh episode is my favorite, but I'd really like to see a Dali episode (that's a free idea if you're reading this BBC.)

Where are you from:
I'm from the sleepy deep English countryside, where a stolen pint of milk is front page news. I've recently moved to London to study illustration though, and I'm loving it!

What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you:
I don't mean to boast, but I once ate two roast chickens. In one sitting.

What don't you want them to know:
That sometimes I hum along to 'Hips Don't Lie' whilst I'm drawing.

Name a few of your favorite things:
Coffee and lemon and ginger and tea. Photoshop, bamboo, rum and whiskey. Music, ink and big paintings, these are are some of my favorite things.

What kind of art did you make as a kid:
I used to make big plaster and wire mesh landscapes with my Dad when I was little, and I used to have drawing competitions with my friends where we'd all try and draw the best, most unbeatable monsters we could. It wasn't until I was 14 or 15 that I started to kind of draw a little bit more seriously.

Favorite thing about illustration:
Lots and lots of things: I like how it can reach so many people, it can make people happy, it can be a defining feature in our memories of childhood, it makes great literature accessible, it can be both beautiful and affordable. Best of all for me though, is the thought of people out there choosing and wearing my artwork all over the world.

Time travel vs space travel:
Hmmmmm, that's a tricky one. Time travel I reckon, so much scope for historical mischief: save the dinosaurs, get married to HenryVIII, give loads of funding to Tesla's work, convince Lincoln to get a mullet. The list goes on.

Favorite shirt you own:
I have this really baggy white shirt that I think used to have a picture of some guys tagging a bus stop on, but now it's just covered in ink and paint and all sorts of weird chemically stuff. It's the shirt I wear if I'm working on big paintings or messy experiments, and each stain on it relates to a different painting. It's not a good one to wear to formal affairs though.

Which is better, gaming reading or watching movies:
That's another really tough one, as I like all three of them. I'm kind of obligated to say gaming because my brother's a games designer (casual name drop - angry mango,) but i'd have to honestly say movies. I find it easiest to get really inspired by a movie, and there have been a few along the way that have really changed my outlook on life and work. Tekkonkinkreet is probably my favorite animated movie, and watching it led to a lot of my own work and helped me to develop my own style. Withnail and I is still my absolute favorite film though, the trailer doesn't do it justice - you just absolutely must see it; I must have watched it forty times and it still makes laugh like hell.

What inspires your work:
films and fine art, both old and new on both accounts. Painters like Basquiat, Jean Marc Calvet, Van Gogh, and Diego Rivera. Too many films to list, but anything with a really interesting art style like Secret of Kells, or just simply beautiful like anything by Ghibli or Wes Anderson.
