Mr. White's Blue Ice
About the artistArt curated by
Tell us a bit about this design:
In my opinion, all good products need a friendly face for customers to empathize with. Sure, blue meth is cripplingly addictive, but where is the TRUST? Whenever you buy a baggie of Mr. White's Blue Ice, you'll know that your ice is made with the purest ingredient of all: Love.
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. But moved to the Dallas area for school.
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
That despite my horns and Mechante Fille moniker, I'm actually quite a nice girl.
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
That I have horns in real life. Shhhh...
Name a few of your favorite things.
Waking up early on Saturday morning, but then going back to sleep after remembering it's the weekend, the pure and frantic excitement from a dog when you whip out their leash, the sense of infinite creative possibilities that comes over you when you step into the art supply store...and other wonderfully nerdy things.
What kind of art did you make as a kid?
I was really into anime and manga as a teen and essentially taught myself how to draw through what is now known as fan art. I'd like to say that my Utena and Escaflowne drawings made me one of the cool kids, but that would be a lie.
What is your favorite thing about ice cream?
That living in Texas allows me to eat it year round. 80 degree winters FTW!
Ganon vs. Joffrey: which would win the battle?
I'm just going to assume you meant a fashion battle. Ganon definitely has the better makeup and jewelry, but Joffrey's half-capes are pretty fierce. I'm going to call it a draw.
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
My favorite shirt is a vintage Muppet Babies t-shirt exactly like one I owned as a wee lass. It's my most prized possession.
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
I'm going to go with reading. It's the one activity you can do almost anywhere and a book is like instant company when you're alone. I don't have a FAVORITE, but my collection of Stephen King books get more dog-eared and worn every year.
What inspires your work?
Anything that I'm interested or passionate about. I definitely design shirts that I'd wear myself.
Any shout outs?
My bro Clint, for always being my second set of eyes.
