Tell us about this design.
This was basically just mashing up the Expendables with Mario mainly because Mario's enemies are pretty expendable as well.
Where are you from?
Im from Puerto Rico, raised a military brat and currently live in Tampa
How did you get started designing t-shirts?
My friend Crystal known as bamboota to everyone got me into shirts. I do a lot of fan art on my own so It was basically trying to get he designs to work for shirts.
What advice would you offer to aspiring designers?
Basically what I keep telling myself everyday and that's to just do what you like to do and not what others think you should do.
What would be your dream job?
I'm really not sure what my dream job would be. I guess working with game art or doing comics, I do so many different styles of art because I like so much that I really haven't figured out what to focus on -
What is your favorite thing about gaming?
My favorite thing about gaming would be the sense of wonder and mystery it could create. I never experience this nowadays but as a kid playing games like Zelda and Metroid and finding hidden chests and secret items was really cool, I always tried to imagine what the characters where seeing with there eyes.
What would your ideal house be like?
My ideal house would be an exact replica of the Ghostbusters station with the first floor garage and the sliding pole thing. That station always seemed like such a fun place to live and work at, it would obviously include Janine as my receptionist as well!
NES vs. Sega: which would win the battle?
Awe man definitely NES that basically comes down to how I grew up. Mario and Zelda are some of my fondest memories of gaming growing up. I never even owned a Sega so its kinda a one sided battle there.
What was your favorite as a kid: comics, cartoons, or movies? Was there a specific title you liked most of all?
I would say Movies as a kid I was very fascinated with the look and effect of stop motion animation, I really liked the original Clash of the Titans, Willow and my all time fav would still be Jurassic Park
What are a few of your favorite websites?
The websites I mainly visit are nerdy ones - I visit Kotaku often to keep up on gaming news. Slashfilm, Newsarama, for other nerdy goodness, and I'm a fan of Cinemassacre and there show Angry Video Game Nerd lol!
