Where are you from?
Michigan
Which art style would you most like to learn?
I'm open to anything, I know too little to be picky
If you had a time machine, which era would you visit first?
I suppose I'd head back to the early 1800's before the gold rush, and take all the gold.
What goal do you most aspire towards?
Improving my design & illustration, in the hope that someday I'll be awesome at one or both.
If you could stop any t-shirt trend in its tracks, which would you end? What trend would you like to see started?
I would end all t-shirt kiosks in malls, and almost anything that comes up in google images when you type "funny t-shirts." I'd like to see reversible t-shirts with a different design on the inside - whether or not you wear it two days in a row is your business.
Would you rather travel in a submarine or a hot air balloon?
I don't see why we can't just combine the two.
Playing music vs. listening to music: which would win the battle?
Nothing compares to the moments you are lost in your own music. Playing wins.
Describe the first shirt you ever designed.
I can't remember which one was my first, but I can say without a doubt that it was awful and I didn't know what I was doing.
What has been your most inspiring art experience?
When I first saw Picasso's Old Guitarist in Chicago - for some reason it really stuck with me. I swear just picturing work from his blue period gives me chills.

The arm on Kermit's side (who is male) looks to be a male's arm, and the arm on Miss Piggy's side (who is female) looks to be a female's arm. Anatomically human males tend to have bigger arms and hands than females. Hilarious.

Not a hard sell in my book. You must be approaching 30+ years of age to truly appreciate it though.
