Tell us a bit about this design.
This illustration is a compilation of some of my more recent favorite characters and modern Doctors in a picture frame style design. I've always had an extreme fascination with ornate style frames because they can be bold and have unique personalities, just like the Doctor.
Where are you from?
Seattle, WA
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
I don't really have a lot to say about myself. I love what I do! I live and breath illustration and design, making some occasional time to play video games, watch movies, and be a nerdy husband and dad.
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
I watched an episode of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" and now I have to sleep with a nightlight because it is still giving me nightmares.
Name a few of your favorite things.
Cartoons, video games, basset hounds, and when I can, I like to go fishing.
What kind of art did you make as a kid?
I love comics, so I would create my own, the adventures of Boy Hero and his amazing side kick, Howling Hound!
What is your favorite thing about time travel?
The ability to change history for the better or meet prominent people from the past. Who am I kidding? You know I would go back in time and invest money in Apple.
Panda bear vs. teddy bear: which would win the battle?
I think the panda would win. At least I hope it would. I hear they can only mate once a year so I'm sure they have a lot of pent up aggression to take out on those over populating teddy bears.
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
It's just a basic black t-shirt that says "Master Ninja" with a small silhouette of a ninja next to the word master. I like it because I like to imagine I am a master ninja, despite being pale, strawberry blond of Irish decent.
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
Movies. The Fifth Element...... "I need some heat man, I need some heat!"
What inspires your work?
Poster design, illustrators like Ragnar, and James Jean, and the abundance of inspiration from my wife and baby girl.
Any shout outs?
I would like to shout out to my daughter Frances Mae, but it's pointless since she can't read yet and my wife won't let her look at the computer screen.
