Where are you from?
Leipzig, Germany ... where Faust & the Devil went to party.
What has been your most adventurous moment?
There's been quite a few. As a little kid I once nearly drowned in a river, came very close to being impaled by a raging bull, was brought home by the police for shoplifting, got caught between two rivalling gangs fighting at a public pool, found a stolen car that that had blood all over the wind shield, and won a bike race on a frozen lake. The rest of my adventurous youth mainly happened in books & video games.
What has been the most valuable advice you've been given?
Don't panic!

What is your favorite thing about zombies?
From the point of literary studies, the fact that even when they bring about the apocalypse, they used to be part of us, of society, before. They critically reflect our passive consumer culture and they will stop at nothing, because they lack the brains to do so. Zombies are the ultimate dystopian rhetorical device to point the finger at us, the walking braindead.
Hamburgers vs. ice cream: which would win the battle?
Ice Cream. Hamburgers can be yummie, but in the end they only come in one flavour: dead cow. Ice-cream on the other hand ... Brownie Fudge Chocolate Vanilla Cookie Dough anyone?
Describe the strangest shirt you own.
I have one with a huge bear in Rambo attire shooting lazers from its eyes. Thought it was so random, I had to buy it.
What would be your dream project to work on?
That would be a project I'll receive a handsome down payment for, have all the time in the world to work on and that I would co-produce with my other half. Like ... a seriously crazy graphic novel or something like that.
