The Plumber Strikes Back
About the artistArt curated by
Tell us about this design.
This is a collaboration between WinterArtwork and I. Winter (http://www.facebook.com/winterartwork) hit me up on my Facebook page (facebook.com/sumrow) and said he had some ideas that would fit my style. A bit later I get an email from him and my jaw dropped. It was "The Plumber Strikes back". I had an image in my head immediately of what he was describing. We are both huge ESB fans and knew this would be super fun to work on. We shot emails back and forth and flushed out the design ... and I did my best to draw it and do his idea justice. Now we present it to the wonderful Teefury community.
Which art style do you like most?
I dig pop-surrealism. Need to do it more myself.
If you had a time machine, which era would you visit first?
The future... I want to see our new Robot Overlords up close and personal.
What goal do you most aspire towards?
My only goal is to be happy and draw/paint as best I can. Keep growing, tread softly, and share a good joke with my friends and family.
If you could stop any t-shirt trend in its tracks, which would you end? What trend would you like to see started?
Splatter effects. Marmots.
Would you rather fight your way through space or a dungeon?
Dungeon crawl all the way.
Describe the first shirt you ever designed.
Howling Coyotes. It was the late eighties. What do you want?! :/
What has been your most inspiring art experience?
The Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida. Highly recommended
Any shout outs?
Major shout out to WinterArtwork for the collaboration. Another shout out to Jimiyo, Michelle & Teefury... thanks again for having us. Specifically a nod to Jimiyo, he rejects my lesser work and makes me dig deeper and draw better. For this, I thank him. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Mega shout out to all my Tee Peeps, you know who you are. Love you guys.
