Tell us about this design.
I was doing a whole different mashup with the Tanooki suit when I watched the book in my bookcase and the design just popped up in my mind. Also, ‘Where the Wild things are’ is my favorite child’s book. Well, in fact, is still one of my favorite books as an adult (if I’m something like that).
.
Where are you from?
Madrid, Spain.
How would you describe your style?
I don’t think I have one! Except for my heraldry designs, wich are kinda recognizable, I’m changing and adapting my style all the time.
If you could collaborate with anyone else, who would you pick?
I dream about seeing one of my drawings painted over by Alex Ross. Now, back in the real life, I’m happy to collaborate with any of the awesome designers I’m meeting in the tee design business.
What historical figure do you most admire?
That would be definitely Darth Vader. His story of fall and redemption really moves me.
If you weren't designing shirts, what would you be doing?
Being a journalist, I guess. That’s what I studied for, but things went a different way. I’ll write a book someday. Alex Ross will illustrate it.
Would you rather defeat a monster in combat or befriend a monster?
Befriend! How cool would be to have a monster friend to kick the asses of all your enemies?
City in the clouds vs. underwater city: which would win the battle?
As much as I love Cloud Cities, Underwater City would win. Big and mean missile from the deeps of the sea right to the base of the floating island and cloudies would be history.
What is your favorite t-shirt color?
I guess white. With big prints.
What has been your favorite vacation or travel experience?
New York, London, Tatooine (kinda dry, but great pod races), New York again...
Any shout outs?
Thanks to TeeFury for printing this design, to my designer fellas for the support and advice, and to all the people who are going to visit me at http://www.facebook.com/arinesartestudio. Cheers!

Although Wario may have been a boss or villian at one point in time , he is not a monster and that would have messed up the mash up
