I feel that as a Canadian Python (as in Monty) fan it is my civic duty to buy this. I like the design quite a bit, but yes, there's something off about the blue chosen for the word bubble. I think it takes us out of the pen and ink antique feel of the drawing and into cartoon territory (most likely on purpose). I'm just not sure I want to go along for the ride.
I was flipping through a Dover clip art book and I came across this image. It was an interesting picture and I immediately thought of him saying "Did someone call a lumberjack". Then I laughed.
If it was a little lower placement, I might like it. But as it sits, I fear the text bubble and the poor lumberjack's head would be lost forever in the shadows of the breastesses never to be seen again. NOOOOOOOOooooooooooo!
I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay
I sleep all night and I work all day
I cut down trees
I eat my lunch
I go to the lava'try!
On Wednesdays I go shopping
And have buttered scones for tea!
I cut down trees
I skip and jump
I love to press wildflow'rs!
I put on women's clothing
And hang around in bars.
I cut down trees
I wear high heels
Suspendies and a bra
I wish I'd been a girlie
Just like my dear papa!!!!!
nice idea, but if it is a clip art, then that's just unfortunate...
also, the speech bubble will probably be difficult to read on the actual shirt being the color it is. if anyone wears it, expect people to stare at your body for an unnaturally long period of time. black would work better, red would work better, but this does not work.
I used to be against the use of clipart but I own too many Casajordi collage shirts to mind now. I also just recently learned that two of my shirts, one bought in Dallas, the other in Toronto, both use images created by Jose Guadalupe Posada about a hundred years ago. The stolen/borrowed/licensed(?) images are not modified at all so I have no problem with this one.

Can we get some confirmation on whether the leg wraps around the side of the shirt?
biotwistsaid 184 weeks ago

So, this is another clip art image on a shirt?
